Mine is doing it as well. All before the struts were involved. There is no tension there due to the height increase of the struts. Take it to an upholstery shop and have them throw a few stitches in it.

Maybe take a video of this and post it? Also, make sure your cross-over is set to about 85 Hz. Also, you need to make sure the polarity for each speaker is correct which is driving your amp. If you have the left speaker phasing reversed, it will not work correctly.
