Iām liking it better the more I look at pictures. In another thread someone photoshopped body colored flares and that vastly improved the overall look. In the TFL and other video reviews, the thing I like compared to non-Raptor Broncos is the interior. It seems a bit more upscale. My dealer...
BS move by Ford. The temperature shown on the knob is in plain sight, much more prominently displayed. When put on the screen, temperature has other info around it so not as immediately clear. Probably something that I will get used to, but wish they hadnāt made this switch. I donāt have my...
Just about any mud flap will be affected and there have been several threads on here talking about this. To illustrate, hereās a picture from Ford accessories that shows what Iām talking about. If your rocker protector extends too far forward toward the wheel wheel, you would have to cut a...
I would prefer black, not powder coated. But I really like your design based on the photos and you should be justifiably proud. Iāll probably end up with a set, maybe sand blast, and paint with some type of under body paint like POR or similar. From personal experience, powder coat is way too...
Yes, this. On my ā73 I powder coated a lot of stuff underneath including the frame. If stuff gets chipped you canāt really fix powder coat. Better off with some type of auto enamel that can be touched up. Powder coat IMO is much better for things not subject to dings.
I like that design and may purchase these later. Are they powder coated, anodized, or what? Any color besides red? Congrats on coming to market with what appears to be a worthwhile product. As an aside, why do so many aftermarket manufacturers have to so prominently show their name? ASFIR...
This pretty much sums up my feelings on the subject. 9 pages in and you are the first to mention risk and how weāve gotten spoiled. Entire investment strategies are based on risk. An investment in a mutual fund sometimes takes longer than a 48 or 60 month car payment to recover even a modest...
In an e-mail on 5/8/2021 my dealer said, āCamelback Ford is one of the few dealers not charging over MSRP and willing to honor any A, Z, X plans that you may have available to you.ā When I get a little closer to purchase (maybe end Feb) Iām going to follow up on this.
My dealer doing same thing. Difference is, they told me from the beginning MSRP but would be adding their āProtection Packageā which included nitrogen, window tint, door edge guards, wheel locks, paint protection, and handle protectors, $1377. I look at this like a small ADM and nothing more...
Yeah, mine stayed the same too, still showing production date at the āback doorā link. Interesting progression, my original e-mail that I was scheduled for production came Nov 18, with production scheduled for week of Jan 24. Then about 10 days ago I checked the āback doorā and production...
You have outstanding taste in posters. I had that poster of Farrah (RIP Charlieās Angel) hung on walls throughout my college years. Based on your other wall hanging, license plate, avatar, etc. Iām guessing you forgave her for attending that school in Austin!
Iād definitely be interested in a custom Bronco console organizer. In the meantime, you can to to Target (or similar) and find some desk organizer trays. The photo shows the console in my Tundra containing these types of organizers. . If you measure the Broncoās console, you can take a tape...
I agree with this although I think itās a bit crappy that Ford doesnāt just cover any cost of damage. I went to the Nevada event in September and opted to get the insurance. There was some discussion about insurance among our group and I think I was the only one out of 8 attendees that got the...
Of course, the famous quote is āthere are lies, damn lies, and then there are statistics.ā One of my statistics classes used a text called How to Lie With Statistics, which the point was, donāt use fancy statistical methods to misrepresent the meaning of data. That may have been something SG...
Thanks for trying to hang a number on all this. Your āback of the envelopeā significance testing is a good way to figure this out. But I think you need better data, and perhaps different assumptions, before identifying those concerned as āworried old fishwives.ā If you are going to calculate...
