  1. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

Might not help but check all the fuses under the hood and make sure all of them are fully seated. Simple things first and then dealer if necessary
  2. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

It’s just a good idea on any vehicle to unload the driveline when shifting into/out of 4WD. Even if you just let off the throttle, that’s fine. Not saying that’s specifically the issue this particular Bronco owner was having, that was more just general advice for people new to 4x4 vehicles
  3. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

When shifting through GOAT modes it might be prudent to put your transmission in N to take load off the driveline. Pop your Bronco in N, unload the driveline then hold the brake, select the appropriate mode and roll on. With every electronic shift transfer case it’s a good idea to unload the...
  4. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

You just pull it backwards...and a lever never fails due to electronic issues;)

  8. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

I’m talking manuals here, not autos. I know Jeep’s have 8 speed autos...I’ll have my Jeep Rubicon here in about a month ;)
  9. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Well Jeep went to 4.88’s on the manual for their ā€œXtreme Reconā€ 35ā€ tire package on the manual for 22’ (100:1 crawl ratio). The Rubicon auto XRs are getting 4.56s. Ford doesn’t like to be outdone so I wouldn’t be shocked if they go to 4.88s as well. Trust me, it needs it with the...
  10. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Auto’s definitely have their place off-road, especially with newer drivers and/or very technical crawling. When doing rock ledges for example, an auto is much easier to use, especially if you use left foot breaking to modulate your speed (what One Pedal Drive does for you on the auto Broncos)...
  11. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Yes. My order is with Cella Ford in New Bern. I called Capital Ford and just scheduled the test drive. They were more than happy to oblige!
  12. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

I tried Crawl in 2HI as well and just let the clutch out at idle and it chugged along. Didn’t get a speed on that though. As long as you don’t dump the clutch it’ll just idle along in gear
  13. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

5.13s would be ideal for 37s or even 35s if you wanted more pep for sure. I personally wouldn’t go deeper than 5.13s in a Dana 44 cause you start running into pinion strength issues especially when wheeling.
  14. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Zero throttle, that was at idle. Put it in 4-Low & Crawler and just let the clutch out
  15. Manual & 2.3 Ecoboost

It definitely wouldn’t hurt, only thing I’d be concerned with at that point is if the factory clutch can handle the added power without slipping under high load scenarios. If so, will probably be a popular option. If you have to wait for a clutch upgrade...maybe not so much. Time will tell I...
  16. Manual & 2.3 Ecoboost

Didn’t want to double post but here’s a link to my initial test drive impressions of the 2.3/7MT in a 4dr Badlands: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/4dr-badlands-2-3-7mt-test-drive-report.19079/
  17. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Got to scoot up to Capital Ford in Raleigh today to get some seat time behind the wheel of a 4dr Cyber Orange Badlands with the 2.3/7MT. First time seeing a Bronco in person and obviously my first time behind the wheel. This particular one had the leather interior, soft top and the Lux package...
  18. Manual Mannequin Locator

Might bring a $50 or so to bribe the salesman for an...ā€extendedā€ drive when I go on Friday. I’m not gonna be satisfied with a 2 stoplight test drive considering I’m driving 2 hours each way to check this Bronco out
  19. 33's tires fit Big Bend! As tested on my 2021 Bronco

285s look perfect on stock Bronco’s šŸ˜Ž Like the black sidewall look as well. Nicely done!
  20. Incredible wear and tear on GY Territory MT tires

This is what happens to tires when you drive spirited off-road or use them heavily in rocks/drifting/exclusively off-road as these Bronco’s are being used. Plenty of Raptor guys have posted about the same thing. Not abnormal for the Bronco or the Goodyear tire specifically. Nature of the beast...
