1. Bronco Raptor fender flares are hideous
2. All the homegrown - "throwback" versions with white this and that and weird graphics are hideous. They remind me of guys who put BMW logos on there Nissan Sentras in the early 90's.
3. I owned a 2 door. Now I own a 4 door. The 4 door is better...
I looked at both rotation diagrams - I thought you were not supposed to reverse directions of the tires. In both diagrams, when you criss cross to the front the wheels will rotate the opposite direction. Always heard this messes with the internal belts of the tire? (Or) are you actually...
Just FYI about the wireless charger: I use a lot of 9v batteries for work. I had a few extra so I threw them into the cubby that has the wireless charger. Well, I guess it tried to charge these batteries. A few of them became warm and one became incredibly hot, like I couldn't touch it. It...
Is the home link electronics all confined to just the sun visor? My son has a bronco with the Home link sun visor on it. My new bronco does not have it but I need it since we have a garage and he doesn't. It is just simply a matter of switching the 2 sun visors and it will work in mine? TIA!
You may want to research Brazos Valley Offroad park. I think that is the closest to Houston. Also there were some trails around Spring Creek in Spring but haven't been there in at least 10 years so they may be vanished by now. That area has changed once 99 opened. Gilmer/Barnwell mountain...
Next time leave a note on dashboard:
"Wild hog eradication in process. Use caution, Hunters in area.'
May save it from some mischief. Noone needs to know you are broke down.
I use the factory OEM roof rack rails for my kayak. Just throw on a piece of 2" pipe insulation on and then use a regular ratchet strap. Works totally fine.
1. Make sure you put a twist or two in the strap. They will hum like crazy if not and get loud. Really loud if it's windy.
2. Not...
Google Soft Kayak rack. Plenty of options that would work for under $100. Four door, you could go through the 4 door openings. The 2 door may be a little more difficult.
Half rack folks...do you think you could hoist the rear hardtop portion up from the rack? Seems like it would be a simple solution for lifting it up in the garage. Wondering if the 4 mounting/clip points would be suitable for grabbing and holding the rack in air.

1. Auto start/stop is terrible. I purchased the wired - go around thingy for $90. Installation was about 30 minutes.
Works great and haven't needed to push the button since installed.
2. The carpet is really difficult to vaccum in the backseat. The floor has several undulations so there are...
FWIW, mine came with the OEM heated steering wheel. The first few seconds when you turn it on it is ok, then after a minute or so, it goes to lukewarm at best. Then you almost forget it's on. It really isn't all that great. Now the seat heaters on the other hand, they will bake a potato!
Yes. There is a forward mounting option. It is right behind the front uprights. I have a 2 door and moved the middle bar to the front position for hauling a kayak. I think it comes factory in the middle position to make the roof panels easier to remove and a more unobstructed sky veiw.
The MSRP on my 2 Door OBX With MIC was $46,500. It was on a dealer lot that we just happened to pass in a small town. I paid exactly $10k over. They wanted a trade and gave me $20k for my Tundra that was paid off. I figured i'm only financing $37,000 ish so what the heck. I was really...
