I have decided to go with the RCI, With 5-degree angle and the dimple-die top plates, for the same reason (kids/dogs, step up to access roof, etc). I like the styling of the RCI and I like the full frame-mounted design and the fabrication of them is extremely well done (was able to see the RCI...

LOL, this thread is timely, lol
So, I got lazy this past Sunday, left at 5:30AM to go run Niagara Rim Trail and I didn't take the five minutes to remove my IAG steps that attach to the OEM rock sliders on my 22WT as I usually do....
As you can see, the OEM sliders do flex when hit, which...
If the bass roll off is there, it's minimal. My sub is set with the KEY500.1 gain tone and I have not added the sub volume knob yet. I don't notice much of a difference between 14 and 25. Without the B&O sub connected, I can go to 30 without any distortion. At 22 the panel rattle is annoying...
I have never had any issues despite long drives in heavy rain, but have to wonder if Ford may have had an issue with some of the springs (or the whole wiper arm assembly) from their supplier being out of spec (spring tension too high) affecting some vehicles, and not others....
I don't doubt that, because the 500.1 will step up the output level.
But, I probably should have added what Don at SGS explained....at Volumes above 14, The Key 500.1 DSP is processing the frequencies that are output from The B&O after it has cut them, along with performing the roll-off of the...
For those of you that have been using the Kicker Key 500.1 and are feeding it from the line level signals from the B&O sub, aren't you experiencing the roll-off where the B&O DSP cuts back the sub volume, pretty dramatically, at about volume level 14 and higher? I spoke to Kicker and they...
Just ordered the B&O to Key 500.1 harness (spoke to Don at Sounds Good). I knew that if I used the sub high level inputs straight off the B&O amp that I would see roll-off of the sub signal at higher volumes and I was wondering how I was going to grab the front kick panel speaker signals as...
LOL....The only way this is true, is if you are trying to turn with the front diff locked. It seems the primary message here is to push BB upgrades that no one really needs, unless they are trying to drive their 6G like a rock bouncer.
+1 for the Harken hoist. The Cam Lock for the pull rope, and the 3:1 mechanical advantage, are what differentiate it. Also, Harken makes quality, marine-grade gear.
The ~70 pound top lifts with only about 23 pounds of pull force.
Stored 12 feet up, in my case.
Likely it is not Not Too Good to be True. Maybe they are blowing them out to make room for the new KO3 as you suggested, I have no idea....If you go up and read my ealier post, there are a few retailers selling the Load Range C 37s, item# 80088, for $349. Discount Tire Direct matched this...
No Problem! I think that BFG should be continuing to provide this tire for a while, since it's the spec Bronco Raptor tire. Wish we could get the KM3s in LR C.....
FYI, There are a few retailers out there that have the BFG # 80088 (37 X12.50R17 LT 116S C2 RBL) available for $349 each with free shipping. This is the Load Range C KO2, that weighs in at 64 pounds. The official BFG Store on Amazon has them at this price, as does BBWheels. Discount Tire price...
