It can matter to dealers at trade in time, they will usually deduct value for non OEM glass. I suspect that leasing companies might have a similar policy on lease returns.

It isn't always an easy option since Safelite is trying to take over the market, but if at all possible don't use Safelite, use an independent glass shop. If people keep using Safelite soon there won't be any other options, which is exactly what they want.
I hadn't tried it, I just assumed it would be there. I use it all the time on my 2011 F250 pickup. What happens if you switch to manual gear 9 and then stop and go? Does it only shift to 9th or did it reset when you stopped?
