  1. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

I think a lot of it comes from me slow rolling into obstacles, giving it a bump. I went through more steering parts than others when I was wheeling Toyotas. California is a lot of rock gardens which is just hard on IFS parts. You're like the 3rd person to bring those up. I like the idea of...
  2. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

I just need to stop bumping it over obstacles...
  3. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

Can I get a set for my 17s? Boy do I miss pimp my ride!
  4. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

Well yesterday was a busy day of warranty requests after swapping out my last spare tie rod on Sunday! Rough Country just sent me out a 3rd set under warranty! Currently what I am running and been pretty happy with them. They last about 2 oil changes before developing enough play in the inner...
  5. Anyone switch to the Power stop brake kit notice a reduction in brake fade?

I stalled power stop on my F150 and another brand on my Ram. Neither was a huge improvement, just regular maintenance items at the time. I would definitely buy a kit again, power stops are still going strong 6 years latter and lots of life left. Solid product!
  6. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

Keep it rolling! Still waiting for someone to hit some sweet jumps with off the shelf portals!
  7. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

I have had this talk with a few other people but you can reliably run 37s on a Bronco. The parts last long enough to say it's reasonably doable. This whole portal and 40 things is the first step towards a trailer rig. Parts just don't last long enough to call it reasonable. What are you at...
  8. If you started your Bronco build over tomorrow, what would you do differently?

Avoiding unproven products from brands that once represented quality and commitment. Metalcloak and Arb are the two biggest offenders on the Bronco platform.
  9. Turn Offroad Portals

Packed a Hoss 2.0 for a few years and now caring a pre-programed Hoss 3.0 if I plan to wheel.
  10. Turn Offroad Portals

It's magnetic? Material looks like machined aluminum in the pictures.
  11. The BEST Suspension is HERE: Bilstein 8112 DSA+ for Ford Bronco!

@DrRoboto 8112 are designed for 35s and set up with those internal "Zone Control". They are optimized for a specific ride height to balance out the technology just like stock SAS shock. They are a new take on trying to provide a progressive shock that has nice street manners with aggressive...
  12. Anyone else concerned owning this car out of warranty ?

Between FDRS and Forscan it's pretty easy to work on. You can data log and write modules with ease. Everything can be done in a driveway which is huge plus.
  13. Turn Offroad Portals

I don't like how the steel rotors bolt to an aluminum center assembly. Different materials, with different heat expansion and heat releases Loctite. Also would have liked to see the factory brake rotor mounts integrated in for more rotation strength.
  14. What upgrade would you do if ....

I remember that post lol! A few of us made those m190 last a few years!
  15. What's the Worst Father's Day Gift You've Ever Received?

Dinner bill... Shit restaurant, half the table I don't talk to for good reason and my wife limiting me to one drink so I don't give them the 2 cents they deserve. I could have gone on a 3 day Cruise with unlimited drinks instead.
  16. What upgrade would you do if ....

Between those, I will take the rear locker! I still run my front swaybar, wheeled once without it and put it back on.
  17. What upgrade would you do if ....

Skid plates, suspension and then some tires! I wouldn't buy into lockers till you blow up the front end. Having less will teach you more, its funny how many people use lockers instead of picking the right line to get through something. Learning were to put a tire is more important than anything...
  18. Need advice: Bilstein 5100 vs. 6112 (or mixed setup)

I agree! 4wp shocks are definitely the best option still available for the price. Several people have 60k+ miles on them which is amazing. They do give to much lift for some but you can swap springs which adds cost. 6100 are worth it but since you have to buy springs the 5100s are a much...
