I have been pretty patient waiting for a build date, until I got my blend date of 11/28/22 (originally 11/22). Built 'pic' came via email 12/14/22. I called Ford to ask if it was on the train yet (~12/20/22) It was not. I called Ford again yesterday (1/4/23) and it was on a train - en route...
I was following the story yesterday and saw this happen (essentially) in real time. Fun story!!!! Supper happy for you! Merry Christmas!
p.s. you should get something nice for your husband for starting this whole thing rolling.
I love the positivity! After 21 months* of waiting, all i have is patience.
* Scopebit understands that others have been waiting much longer and he is empathetic to their plight.
Appreciate the post OP - mine should be loaded any day now (if not already) to leave MI and head west. Hope I'm able to follow its progress. I've been a complete psychopath since it got built 4 weeks ago. ETA Dec 30-Jan 5. I'm starting to doubt it'll be in that window. Better late than never.
You do you...I have 20+ months of printed ideas, places to off-road, gadgets, stickers, needs, wants, etc. for my Bronco (pending delivery Dec. 30 - Jan 5). Hell, my wife bought one of those stupid bows to put on it when it gets here like it's some kind of Christmas Lexus. I started buying...
I love that you still call it a warthog...you've stayed true to your promise from a year + ago. well done. Warthog is a superior name for sure and i wish they would have used that instead.
OP - do whatever you want. if you don't mind waiting, sell it and use the $$ on your next order if you...
i had the pleasure of seeing these two back this summer at a car show in Joseph, OR. Spoke with Ryan for longer than he probably wanted. It was awesome to see them both side by side. Hope to see you in Joseph next summer Ryan, I expect to have mine by then (build date 11/28).
It does appear that the glacier is moving. 60ish percent of the build week i am (currently) in (11-28-22) are Badlands to Raptor with all the sins (Lux, SAS, MIC, tow). It's down to allocations now i fear.
Late to the party as i don't typically look at 6G on the weekend. Friends and I do a lot of coyote hunting up this way. A big "customer" of ours is a cattle rancher that has 100s of head to look after. He has personally seen coyotes dine on new born calves, which he doesn't appreciate. He...
My first boss out of college was on the USS Georgia and was at least 6'4". He hit his head only once on the bulkhead door. You nuke'es and getting to wear tennis shoes.
That was 100% worth it to watch. Love dude's enthusiasm! Can/will only imagine how it is to drive one. It's a rig that would be fun and I can afford BUT don't want to afford it.
