after being built it sat for +\- 30 days in Dearborn. Finally left on the train 1/18/23 various stops along the way to train yard in Spokane around 2/5/23. Delivered via truck to the Tricities on 2/10/23.
i have not, but a coworker says that Performance Auto Sound (clearwater just east of Morain) in Kennewick. Audio King, also on clearwater, just east of Union (also in Kennewick). Says he's heard good things about both. Lots of places to pick from in the Tri for sure. Good luck
Last minute cancellation of my previously scheduled trip so the wife and i will be attending. Never done one of these before, looking forward to it. I figured more would respond to this thread. My wife tells me that the FB page (or whatever it's called...not a FB guy) shows that the...
Love these types of road-trip stories. Thanks for sharing! Glad you got your Bronco...
Thank God for the exorbitant price of plane tickets - has forced the wife and I to drive from SE Washington to the UP of Michigan (and back) this coming July. Get to stop by Bozeman, MT to see the daughter...
Dude, i love the '80s! At first I was like WTF...the more time I gave it (20 secs)...I love it! I started mod'n mine this weekend. I have a long way to go, well done.
Hiked it once (R2R) in Sept of 2020 and it took longer - we took our time - great experience! I saw some dude running it, similar to you @Bullitt, R2R2R. Y'all crazy!
Thank you for sharing. My Bronco will be here any day now WITH the tow package from the factory. Wife and i have been discussing selling the F150 and using the Bronco for our single axle RV trailer. It is 2950lbs dry so even with it loaded (including water) it is under the max of 3500lbs. My...
Was thinking the same thing - what was all the blustering about with no WT, BL, etc? Was Ford trying to get folks to flinch, I suspect some did, but now folks with constraints are getting dates. Cool! Congrats to y'all!
Best and worst decision i made for my Type A behavior was obtain the Rail Car # and track it from Dearborn. When it wen to KC from Chicago i about lost my $hit - Why didn't it go to Minneapolis?!?!? Oh the humanity!!!
A coworker of mine is a train nerd and has been educating me on the whole...
Funny is that i was writing about how mine was on a train 4-5 weeks ago (but it really wasn't - Ford supplied info). It did finally leave on a train around the 18th of Jan. Made it to Laurel, MT switchyard (essentially Billings, MT) on 1/27, where it still sits waiting for a crew to finish...
I totally understand the logic here - feel though that this whole cycle will repeat itself. Constrains stay constant but orders start stacking up because folks have 2-3 each at multiple dealers.
I asked them a week ago for a rail # and they said they didn't have it (even though they said it was on the train). It sounded like they wouldn't/couldn't have that type of info. So that appears to be BS. I'll try again...Thank you for the insight.
This! Original build week of 11/21/22 moved to 11/28/22. Built somewhere after that and it was just loaded on a train and shipped according to FoMoCo. Original delivery date moved from 12/30/22 to 1/19/23, The 1/19 email came yesterday. At this point, I'm happy it's built, on a train, heading...
