  1. New Utah owner here

Utah is indeed awesome, just wish I had more free time to explore it.
  2. Rumors on Manual Transmission’s Return?

I’m sure at some level at ford they know more about the MT fiasco than they are letting on. It sure appears to be a design flaw so it was a good call to quit installing a faulty product, regardless of what excuse the use.
  3. Show Us Your Coolers! (Not Fridges)

With the expensive coolers you are getting a much more durable cooler, and not everyone needs that. It’s not that they will hold ice that much longer, but many do, it’s that they are nearly indestructible. I still use cheap disposable styrofoam coolers but also have RTIC & YETI for the long...
  4. Red Bandit goes to Moab

Sounds like a great trip, you really crammed a lot into a short time it sounds like.
  5. Hard top headliner falling apart in high heat

Wow, just wow. I see my wife’s bronco headliner is starting to let loose. I’m just going to pull it down and reapply with some 3M spray trim adhesive and see how that works on the offending panel.
  6. More wind noise after tint?

Maybe check your window adjustment at the bottom of the doors. Pull the rubber plugs and use 10mm socket to loosen the bolts and push as far as you can to the outside of the vehicle with the window rolled down.
  7. Washboard Effects

Drive a lot of regular gravel roads that are minor washboard compared to off roading. Bronco likes to try and get sideways if going too fast. On the other hand the best vehicle for the same washboard roads we’ve owned is our honda crv! Way smoother, was going 65mph the other day and no problem.
  8. Sta bar disconnect failure

Happened for at least the fourth time today in 10k miles. Every time it’s cleared by itself with no record according to the dealer. Some times it’s only minutes, other times it’s for days. Yesterday I thought I would exercise it and no problem, today I start it up and the service soon error is...
  9. Why Own Multiple Broncos?

We have two Broncos, we initially reserved a cyber orange 4 dr soft top manual Badlands. It was not intended to be a daily driver and the wife complained about it being a “garage pet”. She loved driving it but wasn’t crazy about the manual. So she ordered a Hot Pepper Red 4 dr hard top...
  10. Why no nuts on the extra two positive battery post?

I wondered why no nuts either, put on a couple wing nuts once I figured out what thread. Just in case I ever use those terminals.
  11. Receiver Hitch Lock Pin - Help

I had to get a longer pin to clear the safety chain loop and ease of insertion.
  12. Stock Goodyears throwing rocks

Get some good mud flaps and rock on.
  13. Moab - Off Roadeo - 4/15

Thanks, will look for that and any others the next time we are out there, last time we had too pressed for time. We had reservations but still waited in line for hours.
  14. Moab - Off Roadeo - 4/15

How much off roading can be done at Arches? I remember one trail that went beyond the homestead site I believe it was. Are there others?
  15. Instrument cluster?

    Instrument cluster? Yes.
  16. ? as a Off Roadeo guest.

  17. Driving in the Snow - How’s the 4A system?

In 4A do you leave traction control on or turn it off?
  18. Automatic Transmission -- strange downshifting in neutral. Is it normal?

Hmm. Maybe modern vehicles aren’t programmed to coast in neutral? You probably confused the computer.
  19. Boring paint options?

Cyber orange seems pretty popular. We hadn’t had our cyber orange badlands very long when we met one in our neighborhood, he didn’t look happy and he didn’t wave. Then I met a different cyber orange, he seemed unimpressed as well. Here all three of us thought we had something unique, but not as...
