As long as we are reminiscing, here are some ways I would have incorporated the old into the new.
A more traditional gauge package.
Full frame doors with vent windows.
Swing out spare tire carrier.
Fold down tailgate with retractable back glass.
But, ford didnāt ask me.
When I saw the cyber orange I knew that was the color I was going to get. Didnāt even consider any other color.
I also wish the interior and dash were a smooth buckskin material. The current rough finish really holds the dust.
I wish you success! To me the Bronco just screams high performance V8 with outrageous exhaust note. And if a person could strip away the digital nannisms and modules and let the horses run free that would be a plus.
Covering your ass these days is never a bad idea.
That said, we never got it doing the Moab offroadeo. But then I donāt always make the best choices, but it turned out ok.
All in all, the Moab offroadeo is a great experience. It exceeded my expectations and was a great experience for my wife who had never driven off road.
Hereās a new one, my wife got sideswiped, ended up being $7K in damage. The guy who hit her reported it to the cops. They said they werenāt coming.
You would think they would like to check drivers license, insurance, impairment?
Nope.
Dealership applied some magic potion to my Bronco, cyber orange and it has stayed very clean. I think Iāve only hand washed it once, the rest has been Mother Nature and the paint has stayed very slick.
