  3. De-Carpetted my 21 BigBend

Armorlite is the best floor liner. If you want a true washout floor leave it bare. https://goarmorlite.com/collections/21-current-bronco-4dr/products/front-rear-flooring-21-current-bronco-4dr
  4. Decal Placement

I wish they were Velcro patches on my headliner instead of unused stickers in my toolbox drawer.
  5. If you are considering a Ham Radio, now may be the time

The best answer might be the one that fits your budget. All of their products are good. There are websites that will teach you how to pass the test. A few days of study and you will be ready.
  6. If you are considering a Ham Radio, now may be the time

I got my license in January only because I wanted more than GMRS in my Bronco. It opened the door to a fantastic new hobby. I am having so much fun, and the technology I have in my Bronco now is over the top. My first radio was less than 20.00 and fits in my pocket. People wait all year for the...
  7. Wiring to Cargo Area

I have run wire for a mObridge amp, wolfbox rear camera, Anker alternator charger, Ham radio antenna coax, and a 10 gauge pair of wires from the battery to a bus (in the hopes that I won't have to disassemble all the plastic AGAIN for future needs.) Most of it though the firewall and all of it...
  8. Broaddict TrailDeck Review – (From a Dad w/ Twins)

It looks like the bottom of your molle panels are just free floating now? What is keeping them from rattling? And how did you cut the panels? It looks very clean. Props to you for a nice cut.
  9. Mobile HAM Recs?

I was going to mount mine behind the glovebox before I learned about how much RF interference a 50 watt radio can cause to other electronics. I used that as an excuse to get a DV8 overhead Molle and put the radio on top of it.
  10. Mobile HAM Recs?

The BTECH UV50 Pro and its cousins that are the same under different brands might be a good choice if you are looking for something simple to operate and program. It can also work the GMRS frequencies, does APRS, and has KISS for SMS and email. It does not do DMR. There are much better radios...
  11. Starlink Mini & DV8 install

Different radios to listen to different frequencies and they work in different ways. Digital that connects to the Starlink, and will talk to anywhere in the world from anywhere I am. Analog for local and repeater use. Analog to digital. You can get a radio that does ham and GMRS for less than...

  13. Starlink Mini & DV8 install

Very nice. I like that you made it easy to unmount. I left my power cable coiled up by the unit so I can move it away from my Bronco if I'm parked under obstructions. It's a perfect fit on the DV8 overhead. I used the American Adventure Labs mount. ($$$)
  14. How do you keep your floor mats from flying away?

I started out with a rock found on the side of the road. Then used a couple of tire spoons to hold them down. I installed Armorlite flooring, now I don't have floor mats.
  15. Running Lights Wiring

The guys at Specialty Performance Parts are great. They will answer any questions, and tell you what you need...
  16. Coaxial cable routing through the A pillar

There are several YouTube video's that will show you what to do. I believe if you look for installation of upfitter switches you will find what you need.
  17. Aftermarket stereo interference with tpms

A ferrite on the power supply to your amp might be needed.
  18. Easy and inexpensive battery maintainer / charger UPDATED

Seems to be working ok for me. It keeps my system from going to sleep. I have a couple of circuits that stay hot and draw a minimal amount of current. Without the charger, it goes to sleep in about 36 hours.
  19. Warn Wireless Winch Hub Receiver - install questions

It has the flap to allow access to the spool so I think you can just leave it on if that's your preference.
