I hate to say this but this is very typical and it SUCKS!!!! Ford is rotten at communicating true status. I can remember how many ti.e my dates slipped multiple times before I called my dealer and asked if it was really on a train to Chicago. The dealer had no clue because Ford didn't...
@LethalPerformance first off thank you for all of the work that goes into investigating all our questions!
I have one for you now. Did the Ford Perf Rep happen to say when these would be delivered? I went to the Dealer that I bought my WildTrak from and placed my order which they didn't know...
Picked mine up from Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1232808727/new-fits-2022-big-full-size-bronco?ref=yr_purchases) Pretty heavy duty (made it through many washings) and reflective.
The million dollar question for me would be "What do you need to to to open or remove the top?" My assumption is the at minimum the upper platform would need to be removed or if possible (depending on design) swung out of the way.
I have a WildTrak so I am already at 4.7 my biggest hope is that they addressed the lag from 0-15mph. Moving from a 2014 Taurus SHO to my 2022 WildTrak was a bit of a surprise and some what disappointing. I know I can't/shouldn't compare the two because they are two very different beasts but still.
I used to run 44" Super Swampers on a full size Blazer. They were ungodly loud but when you live near the river bottoms in MN they came in really handy when the little little kids would get their Daddy's truck stuck in ruts made by big tires. I would make 400-500 bucks a month getting them out...
Some people complained early on that it didnt sound like a V8 and others said the performance gain was comparable to a V8. Really cuz it is a V6 not a V8 :)
I went with the MagnaFlow because this wasn't out in March or maybe I didn't look hard enough. It has a nice low rumble at idle and isn't ungodly loud with no popping or whining. I've had MagnaFlow exhausts on many different vehicles including my last Taurus SHO and love the sound and their...
Replacing the speakers in the front including the two kick panel speakers does provide much better sound compared to the stock configuration. I had this for about week and the replaced the sub with a custom sealed tailgate mounted box and Kicker Comp-R driven by a Kicker 500.1 Key amp. The...
The Amp came from Best Buy because Crutchfield was sold ot the CS4 are in the dash(3) and the rear pods (2). The CSC67S are in the kick panels by your feet(2)
I have the B&O and the replacement of the front speakers 3 in the dash, the two rear pods with Kicker CSC4s along with the the replacement of the two kick panels with Kicker CSC67s on day 1 made a world of difference. Crutchfield includes wiring harness adapters with the Kicker CSC67s but not...
The Amp is mounted on the down portion of the roll bar tube under the side cover. The Key Amp is very small and all I needed to do is rearrange a few wires (no cutting just moving) to get it in place with the controls facing up for easy access in the future. I did use the high outputs to the OEM...
I order the black chrome script emblems from CJ Pony Parts, removed the mounting pins (not drilling holes in my baby) and used this to mount them https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40069527/. I filled the back with resin to form a nice flat surface then custom cut with an Xacto knife. So far so...
I didn't even attempt to replace the factory "sub" I removed it and hung mine on the tailgate I lose a bit of room but not a huge deal. IMO The OEM enclosure isnt really solid enough to handle anything more than what they put in it. Im running a 10" Kicker Comp-R with a 500.1 Kicker Key amp in a...
This is a great write up! I was inspired by it so I replaced everything with Kickers Including an custom built sub box that is home for a 10" Kicker Comp R run by a Kicker 500.1 Key Amp. I love it!!!
Thanks again for inspiring me.
I started with badges from Etsy but that were plastic so I used one of them to cover up scratches on the inside of my tailgate until I get my sub box built and installed (this weekend)
My fender badges came from CJ Pony parts...
