Will do. I smashed a crossmember pretty good. On a decent size tire that never would have happened, but I dont care for the size of design of those crossmembers anyway.
You'll likely not see an elec disco aftermarket. Just quick disconnects.
It's a great system and quite helpful even though it only increases articulation slightly its worth it. Bonus points for Ford over jeep because you can actually disconnect it mid obstacle
In bonus land today....
While I still do not care for MGV interior, it cleans up very easily with two buckets one with just a cpl drops of soap and a clean rinse bucket.
This is after a long day in the desert with the top completely off and windows up.
Not much further than I already explained. Its just a poor system. Just as bad if not worse IMO than the stock system in the Wrangler. If you like your music, youll want to opt for the BO (I have not heard it yet) or aftermarket. I was really disappointed in it.
All of the Wrangler guys & gals I went out with were more than a little impressed after the 1st hour or so of wheeling.
With my background I chose to take some of the harder lines that the stock and stockish Jeeps in front of me did not, which caught everyones eye. I certainly put the stock...
I never speak of trails rated 11+ (buggies only) when talking to standard folk. Lol.
Although we've had some of our JK builds and even a Gladiator run successfully a buggy trail recently. Fools.
Loren just ran through all of Rubicon with his modified Bronco. Just 2" Lift on coilovers with 37s. He is obviously one helluva driver. Video should be out this week.
All of us with bad intentions are eyeballing Portals. Just absolute craziness though.
Did just fine. The AC Fan at 7 is powerful. Good quick cooling. I had the top completely off yesterday, windows up and ac on 7. Yes it was still hot but the ac cranked.
While we are in a lull from the engine drama and me catching up on replies, Ill add a bit to my initial thoughts.
Yes, 98% of Jeep Rubicon owners do not use them to their full potential.
However...(and say what you will about my opinion/experience) I do know that a stock Rubicon vs a stock...
We have a line of nearly 100 parts all ready to get added to our website and inventory as it becomes available! We know the Bronco is a gamechanger and its right in our lane. I promise you, we will be the go to spot in the Southwest for these. Stay tuned!
Well, we are not a manufacturer of parts (except steering for JK/JL/JTs). But we do work very closely with many manufacturers of aftermarket parts during the R&D Process. As a matter of fact my Bronco is about to head to Texas for that purpose. We also test all the products we carry in house...
I dont sugar coat things. Most prefer it that way.
I also stay in my lane. Im good at what I do, and know a decent amount about this game. Experience, not ego.
I'll now consider you a troll going forward unless you prove otherwise. I know, because I know. I understand the basics and the advanced levels of suspension, tuning and all of the benefits and negatives of both SA and IFS. While IFS can certainly be absolutely amazing at the highest levels...
Regarding Audio....The Alpine 9 speaker with Sub available on the JLs is "pretty ok" for a stock system at a decent upgrade price. However, on new builds I order I skip it and just start building a system. I mostly use JL Audio, fitting right?
The soundstage available on the Wrangler or the...
I never said the jeep was superior offroad. I said the Rubicon is a better (specifically) rock crawler than the Bronco SAS could possibly be. It's all written fairly clearly, sorry if you don't agree.
