What I see as common failures:
-Evap purge solenoid
-My sync
-Camshaft actuators
-Variable valve timing solenoids
-Cap-less fuel door flap
-Not going to mention dual clutch because Bronco won’t have it.
-paint peeling
-Stereo or amplifier
-TWIN TURBOS! P0299! Worst fricken code to ever...
Well judging by how fast they got B&P out... oh wait that’s been delayed. I may have a problem. Late 2021 isn’t that big of deal for me, even if it’s 2022 I’m still getting this damn bronco. I’ll just be really annoyed if it’s really 2022
I’m part of base man squatch crowd... what delays? I don’t mind too much, really depends on how long of a delay. If it’s mid 2022 I have a problem.
Brake fluid also has a service maint. Interval. On Nissan Rogue’s for example it’s every 20k, I wouldn’t personally leave brake fluid in a braking system for longer than 3 years on a car I care about. 5 years if it’s a winter only car or a beater. You can get really good brake fluid that’s...
That’s rough man. On dodges CVT I would change the fluid every 30k if I owned one. I’ve replaced engines and transmission on journeys and renegades. The bronco I’ll be doing all fluids except coolant every 30k. And yes that means trans, front and rear differential, transfer case, and brake...
I work at a dealer as a used car tech, no car is sealed for life. Every single transmission has a service maint. interval. It's in most manuals you get stock in your glove box or the information is out there. Most ATF intervals are 30k, CVT's are synthetic fluid so they can go 60k usually, most...
Oh ho ho! this is thread i can contribute to! I "borrowed" a 2017 civic si from work and made my wife learn in it, drove it for hours. She fell in love with it and i told her after a couple months you won't even look to see what gear you're in any more, and after a year you won't even notice...
I like it a lot, not sure I'm in love with it yet, need to see it in person still. I really like the retro look of the bronco but all the modern features that are everywhere in and on it. That is what the Jeep is missing, a jeep has been a jeep for so long and to me the interior is just played...
My dude!! That’s what I want in a new bronco. Green is reserved for special vehicles, it looks terrible on all other vehicles. I’m a sucker for green and white.
Lime green or bright green for me! With a black roof, hell I’d even do white top if it was available. Green with white top, white old school graphics from front fender to rear quarter panel, squatch and manual. My ultimate dream build.
Under 30 Bro’s unite! I would love to have velocity blue or rapid red with a white top and some old school graphics that go from the front fenders to the rear bumper ?
Can we add it later? On S550 mustangs you can buy a mustang with a base stereo and later add the sync 3 from a newer mustang. It’s a little complicated but not impossible if you take your time. Pretty much need the dash kit, the newer stereo and the APIM, update the models. Wouldn’t that be...
If you up the boost you have to use higher octane Gas. Or else the computer will put the car into limp mode the second it starts to ping, that’s assuming the tuner didn’t shut of the fail safes. You have to pay to play, or else leave it alone. Most tunes have a window with new parameters set...
This order goes against everything I always tell people. Buying it before you truly test drive it, and getting a first generation non people proven vehicle. I’m hoping because the rangers are doing fairly that the bronco will, but you bet I’m getting extended warranty.
When is the last day we can switch? We have good info here on the forums about which dealers are honoring Xplan and are some what informed to really informed. To me the problem is I’m on the hype train and want a bronco already! Maybe ford released all these teasers a little too early. But it...
