I second just going to the fuse box. It's not that difficult at all to run and hide all the wires, but grab a set of plastic trim tools. You can do it without trim tools but life is soooo much easier with them. After getting a set, I think they should be a mandatory part of the toolbox kit.
One of my favorite engineering professors, (who specialized in failure analysis, consulting, and litigation) said something in a course about product safety regarding trials that resonated and stuck with me since.
"The average American has a 6th grade science background"
Also probably why I...
Is it a vibrating, wind buffeting sound, or a clicking/popping sound?
If it's clicking/popping it's probably the locating pegs. You can put a little dab of silicone super lube or do the shrink wrap trick and it will go away.
If it's some vibrating sound. I'm not exactly sure what the cause of...
747 wings were comb core. When comb core sandwich panel is done right, it is absolutely amazing. Incredibly rigid and light weight. I could stand in the middle of a 3' x 8" x 3/8" strip supported at both ends and at 210 lbs it didn't deflect any perceptible amount. The strip only weighed a...
This. I can get 20+ mpg on long distance trips just driving and that includes speeds up to 80 mph. This has been going from Southern CA to Central CA or to Vegas and both have big grades along the way.
I have also been in some 30+ mph sustained head winds with 60 mph gusts, even going 60 mph it...
Alright just finished ran a little over 3 hours. Murphy is an A-hole, damn near 1 hour was spent trying to separate the lower shift cable. Eventually I said F it after breaking two forked trim tools and grabbed some needle nose pliers. Came off in 30 seconds after that. I skipped ahead at that...
Cool, thanks. That bushing is the only thing that gives me worry aka how to turn a two hour job into a 2 week plus job while you wait for an obscure part, if you can even order it stand alone.
What was the approximate time for install? Mine arrives this evening and it doesn't look too crazy in the instructions. I plan on budgeting a leisurely 2hrs taking my time.
You mean like f$#@ing around filming a TikTok in the dark behind 2 LHS that are unloading full flat racks full of mortars cause the brake lights gave them a cool effect...? I ripped them a new one, they got upset, I asked them which hurts more your feelings or being cut in half for being stupid...
You have to be careful with the genetics. Remember back to your high school biology and Punnett squares... Sometimes you get recessive genes that express themselves
Or this one that appears to have some Transit in it's lineage
Being in the sciences, would you mind recording the mating ritual of two Ford Broncos and uploading to YouTube? For science purposes of course, as it sounds like a highly dangerous affair for both vehicles.
I think we should study the type and frequency of body damage during these events in...
Well from what I remember way back your Bronco was built more for the fun side of things and would suck as a regular driver (I just remember tires with 55 mph speed rating).
In this case I can see the two Bronco case, one built for play and one for everyday.
Ding ding ding!!!! Say it louder so the people at Ford can hear you.
There's a few other things I'd like with the Ranger but this was a big one that swayed me over.
By now there's probably a gazillion other print sets and everyone who touched it would ideally need to get a set of elimination prints. Not to mention textured surfaces tend to not leave useable prints to lift.
