I've got 2 inch clearance with the roof rack, and I just put those on to set up all the brackets and to take the pics. Its COLD outside and had to do it in the small space of the house garage. My 86 Bronco is house in the shop, and it has no heat....so......
Finally set my Hooke Road roof rack up to carry my MTM cases and used brackets and eyelet hardware to do so. I used some carabiners to secure the hooks on my retractable straps since I didn't get the Rhino versions yet.
Think I solved any lateral movement with brackets to prevent the...
It seems this is a little late, and I'm guessing you have had time to work on "projects" over the last 5 years! So, I'll let you know what I did today to make my 24 BL Sas more versatile and travel effective.
I installed the rack a few weeks ago and now I set it up to utilize the MTM and...
Here is what I found to fit the Hooke Road roof rack.

After my efforts to secure several cases, this is where I ended up.
//UPDATE//
Thank you for all the suggestions and I finally put together a cost efficient and somewhat effective way to utilize inexpensive MTM hard cases and tie downs with the Hooke Road roof rack.
I am keeping the @not on the rug suggestion for the future. I know, I did get a set of 4...
These are not too heavy and seem solid. One thing is they are wide, as wide as the flares on the Sasquatch. They would work for logs and rocks on trails from the side, but wouldn't use them as designated sliders going over large rocks. They are working well for the kiddos and the roof rack...
These are very similar to the IAG set but half the price. They were 213.00 when I got them.
I got them to accompany the roof rack so I can get to it without opening the doors. It is also helpful for the small ones in the back to get in and out.

Okay, there is obviously several variations of what all the different roof racks require, as to size of eyelet pegs to fit in the slots.
Specifically, I am trying to find a 9/16" wide peg that will slide into the rails for the Hooke Road roof rack.
The ones I found ended up being 3/4" wide and...
I'm thinking that being lower works, on the bead, but may make it more more a pinch hazard the lower it goes with the GY tire. The sidewalls are not the best.
The other concern I see is the lower you go the more you can drag or catch, but that is minor. Yes, 18 will help to gum over those rocks!

The most efficient tire pressure for the 4 door, 21-24 Sasquatch pkg, Goodyear Territory MT is 40/35 psi cold (ambient 55-85 deg). This is also due to weight differences between front and rear empty. This is on my 24 Badlands 4 door Sasquatch. The extreme high/low outside temps will obviously...

@Wildsnak , thanks for the details of your set up. I have retractable straps, and I am going to invest in the eyelets now. I definitely see the Kuat as a future investment!
