I replaced my fender flares. My rear bumper is still streaked two years later, since it's plastic, it's on the bucket list for replacement.
I screwed up, I admit it. BUT the fact that it's not for new plastic is not in the instructions. If I had googled it and seen all the other posts about...
That looks so cool I'm tempted...
My experience with awnings of many different types is that they are semi disposable if the wind blows strong enough. Not knocking the product at all. I really like it.
When I contacted them to complain about the streaking, they told me it's not intended for use on new plastic. It's supposed to be used to "restore old faded material." They offered no more than to provide me with another box of the product. My bad for not knowing or reading the reviews.
I am considering Eibach HD springs and would like to eventually go with 37" tires.

A good write up on this...
The other surfaces on your Bronco will still be vulnerable. A bad enough event can even damage vertical surfaces. Something like this might give you options? (If you don't get caught while driving.)

I am installing Molle panels and will need to trim my rubber cargo mat. I really want the cuts to be clean. I have seen some pictures where others have trimmed the corners for access to the tie down rings and the cuts were rough. Maybe a paper cutter? Ideas?
Pricey, but still the best value compared to others. Cheaper than fixing rock chips too. First accessory I put on mine 2 years ago and still like them. I dig the new look, keep the different patterns coming!
I live next to a creek and fight the rodents every winter. I've had wires chewed multiple times over the years, My old Toyota may never run again because of it. (They also like to set up in my attic and walls.) Brought 7 feral cats home one year, the coyotes promptly ate all but the one who set...
I am going to agree with you. Early on in this process, the set screw for the windshield mount WAS loose. I thought this video was after I tightened it. To make sure, I removed the thermal pad and did a road test. There is still movement in the mirror, the camera video is stable.
See the...
My work truck was in for a week while I was on vacation. It’s a long story I won’t go into, but they didn’t touch it till I was ready to pick it up. Then they replaced the wrong tire and did not put the new tire on the invoice. There were more mistakes, including noting that the leaking water...
I have a friend who manages a major body shop. They have a (fairly new) separate division within the company just to calibrate / recalibrate sensors. Maybe there’s some help for you in that direction.
Video of the vibration without stiffening the mount.
EDIT: The view in the mirror was much worse than the recording. Hard to tell which lanes the cars were in.
The flex I’m seeing is where the arm mounts. If your suggestion doesn’t work, i might be able to use a smaller piece in the center. I have seen other posts about vibration issues, I’m very curious what’s different about my setup compared to folks who are not having problems. At 75 MPH, with my...
I have a Great Dane. Thinking about getting this assembly from Broaddict. Not a terrible price for the whole set considering how many panels it includes.
Update. It’s for sure a heat sink. The backplate that the mirror arm mounts too is flimsy and allows a lot of motion. Great suggestion to try a thermal pad, that’s something I did not know about. I had to use the same size and thickness so airflow is still blocked. Maybe it won’t overheat with...
