Thanks yes I agree has to be matte. Your plan should work I have 37's with just a 1" Zone level
with no rub but I have -1 offset wheels without that I think it would probably rub the wheel
well liners.
First I painted my flares to match my grill that I painted satin black. I really liked the way the grill looked as opposed to the stock grey
so I thought the flares would look good to but after putting on the truck didn't like the way satin looked so I wrapped them.
Here's the way the looked...
I think stock wheels would rub on the fender liners and crash bar mounts these are a 0 offset.
The tires are BFG 37 x 12.50 I think they measure at 36.5
That first pic is without the 1" level.
looks like your getting built this week based on your signature Good Luck
Here is a pic with the 1 "...
I have a non sas badlands on 37's with just a zone 1" level so far for me it has been fine. It is my daily driver and so far off road trails. I'm from east coast so probably never going to moab but for what i use my truck for it has been fine.
Built my own BYOD rail. Total cost under $200.00.
The base is 1/8" x 2" x 20.5" aluminum and I used conical rubber bumpers to support the front.
Everything else is from Ram Mount.
Here is the material list

Conical bumpers used the largest ones...
