Thanks brother. No I used a 1/4 in Ryobi ācompactā driver because I knew 1/4 inch would work with my Torxs plus 40 bit I sourced from Amazon. Itās lodged so deep in there itās never coming out.
I realized a could have got a more powerful impact driver, but the metal on these special bit is a...
I have now lost my only precious T40 plus bit. It is stuck inside my brand new impact driver. $140 loss. My new plan is to let the Ford dealership service department remove the bolts I need removed.
Yes. They are Torx plus 40ās. I did strip the bolt by using the non exact size. However most of the other bolts of the same size were coming off easily except this one and two others. Itās not totally striped, but nearly. I have the right size bit, Torx plus 40, but the bolts wonāt turn.
The two door has a smaller gas tank than the four door. Even with the smaller turbo 4 engine I have to get gas very frequently which I am not used to since my last vehicle got better mileage and for that reason alone the four door is better. Also there is zero chance of fitting in the back to...
Intro: Iām trying to install Baja style bumper guard on my āmodularā front bumper. When I bought the bumper guard I thought it would be an easy bolt-on instal.
Problem: I have a stuck bolt that is pretty well striped at this point and two more that wonāt budge.
I bought an impact driver, T40...
I think so. But I didnāt disconnect the battery during the instal maybe the issue. Also my fuse didnāt want to go in so I kept flipping it and jamming it. Maybe itās not in properly or defective. I may try disconnecting the battery and removing the fuse. Maybe I have to ground the red wire I...
UPDATE - problem solved
Using a small pen knife I was able to lift up the head of the screw which released the whole fastener allowing me to pull it out.
Now the trailer light wiring harness is installed. Big thanks to everyone who helped me out. Only there is a new issue of course. the rear...
The heating tip is genius for the one I striped the Phillips part. Iām going try to lift the anchor with a knife and rip it out with pliers right now.
Using a small pen knife to lift the screws and up and a screw driver to rip it out worked! Thank you so much man. I was seriously loosing it.
Thatās probably what Iāll end up doing. Itās weird that there are videos of several people simply and easily unscrewing the Phillips screw from the fastener. Itās making me crazy. Thanks.
I had already tried applied pressure to the screws and collar but it did NOT work. Iāll try that again later and maybe it will magically work. Thanks
Iām installing a curt wiring harness. I need to remove the trim to access my taillights. There are 4 Phillips trim fastener screws that need to be removed initially.
they just spin and wonāt pop out with force. How do I remove them please?
Thanks.
Okay nothing too exciting but I decided to share. I have added the black stickers that cover the warning labels on my visors from StickerFab after reading about them on here. It looks so much better and more premium. However I did get some bubbles and wrinkles when I hastily applied them. I have...
Easy choice. Painted Roof all the way. Gas mpgs are horrible. Even with my i4 turbo Iām getting gas every 2.5 days. I canāt imagine the 6. Plus the i4 has 300hp. Thatās plenty.
