If you are asking this question then you don't need the sway-bar disconnect feature. You got plenty of off road capability with the rear locker (you don't have a front locker either). Just go out and have fun and learn how to use your machine.
Thanks Dr. Dan! I confirmed with the engineer this was the case in order to make a more tighter connection.
I also discovered the smaller hole in the frame as you pointed out. When you drilled a larger 1/2 inch bit hole did you paint or do anything to prevent possible rust in that area?
I just got mine in yesterday. Super excited to get it in but immediately had an issue... The inner pucks aren't sliding in flush. The inner part of the Tow hook on the Bronco has a slight bezzle that's preventing the puck to move in flush. I'll attach photos. I will have to call Maximus...
Did you have the battery replaced by a dealer or yourself? My guess is there's some computer/battery check you gotten perform after a battery replacement.
IMO, I hate auto stop/start.
Love this product! I had a similar idea bubbling in my brain using the front hooks as some kind of easy connect winch set up, and you guys have read my mind! Will you be adding a new video showing how to install the frame horn bracket? Also a more thorough video on the wiring the battery...
@Maximus-3 I see on the order website you can order with a reinforcement bracket. Can we get more info, pictures, video on what that is? Thank you for the great product.
I always thought with a manual anytime you push in the clutch it would disengage the cruise control. At least that's how it worked on my 2014 Manual Mustang.
No where in the original post did i see the owner say that they had connected the Bronco to their home Wifi where the auto updates actually download. IF you just buy the car and bring it home then no updates will happen until it's connected. Just an idea....
My unpopular opinion is the 2.7 is the most overrated optional feature on the Bronco by far. And you typically see it with people on forums like these. The 2.7 has almost unnoticeable performance increase when compared to the 2.3. People will always say "if you get the auto, get the 2.7" But...
I wouldn't say this is necessarily the soft top. My soft top has been perfect. I put it up and down all the time without rubbing, scratching, sagging, or breaking. The nice thing is you can completely remove the soft top and repair it or replace it. I already have a brand new second one in my...
I never thought I'd use my keypad but I'm glad I got it, I use it quite often! It's nice to have to run out to grab something only to realize you don't have the key with you.
