  3. 2.7 Blown Engine Owner's Experiences

Hopefully we get 44 experiences, and that's it.
  4. 2.7 Blown Engine Owner's Experiences

It's considered a factory warranty, so yes.
  5. 2.7 Blown Engine Owner's Experiences

I did. I'm cancelling it as soon as I get the new one in writing. They should apply the credit to my loan.

  7. 2.7 Blown Engine Owner's Experiences

It was recommended that someone start a thread for those of that have the experience of blowing the motor in our new Broncos. This will be a companion thread to the excellent thread @Lucchese started here: Blown Engine List We can list resources, how long the repairs took, what Ford offered you...
  8. Give a shout out to your dealership if they honored MSRP pricing

Matthews Ford in Broken Arrow, Ok. Paid MSRP AND they sold me an Explorer ST at MSRP minus the rebate.

They are now offering the 100k mile warranty. I think I'm just going to take it and move on. Also, if you want to discuss the diminished value with Ford you have to do it via snail mail. I'll be sending them a letter today if I can remember how to send one. ;) Here's the address: Ford Motor...
  10. 2.7 won’t start. Won’t turn over

Yeah, it sounds like what mine did when my engine blew. Except I started losing power right beforehand.
  11. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

32 Days. I was told they couldn't do that because the dealership covered the rental. Sounds like BS to me.

I got Rufus back yesterday. Detailed and freshened up, it feels new all over again. Still not happy with @Ford Motor Company though. All they've offered is some free oil changes. I had to file a protest.

Still no Bronco. The service department that I've been so happy with bumped me. But, here's a pic of the new engine label. There's a big part of me that is ok with the delay. If it's there for another week I can talk buyback with Ford. I loved the Bronco but the way Ford is handling this has...

Me too. I'm going to try and get pics after work today.
  16. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Same. I'm waiting on an update from my rep, but I know they pulled it in Friday. I could tell that by the FordPass app. So, it should be done this week. That will put it at 4 weeks total in the shop. From what I've seen on here that's pretty good.

Well this went way off topic. Maybe you all should start a thread about ASS.
