Will it work? Yes
Is it preferable? No
Your suspension is a 'system', utilizing all 4 corners. That system works best when it is all matching components.
But your proposed change is not drastic enough to cause great concern. It will work. But I would recommend saving up until you can do all...
They're all negotiable.
Unfortunately, the best time to get the biggest discount is at the time of purchase. Directly from Ford, they are probably the least willing to negotiate.
As already mentioned, you're best bet is going to be Grainger. But it's also worth getting other, non-Ford quotes...
Welcome!
That's a good looking Bronco!
Re: the roof caps -
The paint matched roof caps (should have) came with the Bronco new but possibly lost or discarded by original owner. Still worth asking your dealer about, especially if it was a 'certified' or '5-star' rated vehicle and it's a...
I'll add another thumbs-up for IAG. (y)
I was in a similar situation...steps were mandatory for my wife to get in and out (& a big convenience for me), but I wanted to keep the existing factory rock rails.
IAG steps are the perfect solution.
Removable in seconds to regain clearance on the...
Visited again this year, and this might be the same one I saw last time.
Parked in the same spot.
Cosmo garage has one of the highest clearances at 7'9"
Probably not worth its own thread, but I had read quite a few reports of the TPMS system taking some time to reflect the correct pressures after a tire rotation.
I recently took advantage of a break between rain storms to complete the first rotation on my BL. I was very happy to see that the...
News Flash: new car prices go up every year!
At this point, a MY24 vehicle is 2 years old. Doesn't matter if you will be the first owner or not, for valuation purposes it is more similar to a used car than new. That's why there's deep discounts. It's a lead weight around the neck of the dealer...
Glad everyone is okay!
A couple of things you mentioned, the cubbys and mats, would probably be fine...just throw them in a box w/ personal items.
When it comes to unbolting things, or disconnecting wired items, that's generally a no-no. Very likely someone at the tow yard would prevent you...
In my experience, MT's perform quite well in the snow. However, the larger voids in the tread can make them slip on ice due to less surface contact area. Not by much, but enough to notice when compared to an AT or winter-specific tire. Generally speaking, though, slower speeds will negate that...
All insurance situations can be unique, of course, and depend on specific circumstances. Generally speaking, though, they'd much prefer waiving deductible w/ no penalty for chip repair than X amount more for a windshield replacement.
I've had good results having multiple chips filled on...
I believe it.
One of the differences, however, is while it is almost guaranteed to get you pulled over in CA, it is very unlikely you will get pulled over for just that in WA. And much less likely to result in a ticket.
@iamcris
Thanks for the tip on the shop!
I dont have one currently but have had similar products in the past. Incredibly convenient if you regularly air down, and will enable/encourage you to air down in places you may not otherwise. I've seen Morrflate in the wild and the user highly recommended it. It's what I would choose if/when I...
The Bronco has the aerodynamics of a brick. Compare it to the rake of almost any other modern vehicle windshield and the Bronco's is practically straight up. Without something to divert the airflow, anything flying at you at that height is going to hit the windshield.
Not a perfect solution...
That sounds pretty standard. Especially in corporations, they have policies/procedures in place to protect themselves from liability.
We live in a world where many people refuse to take personal responsibility and instead look for someone else to blame.
"My tire(s) did ___ and that never...
Not sure on checking versions, but if you're not receiving updates automatically you probably have that feature turned off.
Go to your Ford Pass app.
Go to Settings, then Software Updates. Verify auto-update is on and a schedule is set.
If you have auto-update off, and don't want to turn it...
Correct, for MY25 the fog light pigtails are not included from the factory. You can purchase just the pigtails, however, as well as the headlight switch with the fog light button. You'll need forscan, too, to enable the fog light circuit.
But unless you really want that factory look, it will...
Broncos that come with the modular bumper do not get foglights. (except the Braptor).
Search "Modular bumper fog lights" and you will find many, many, many threads with lots and lots of options, including retrofitting oem wiring harness and headlight button for factory appearance.
Hopefully a cautionary tale for all, and an important lesson to learn...read and understand all financial documents before signing anything.
There are usually ways to get out of things afterwards, but it's not always easy and can be time consuming. Read the fine print. Typically, add-on...
That's the way to do it!
I've driven coast to coast a few times (not in the Bronco), and take multiple 1k+mile roadtrips each year. Destinations are great, but the journey is what it's all about, imo.
I highly recommend the Loves truck stops. Consistently the cleanest restrooms, almost always...
