I noticed there are now 3 floor liners listed in MY22 B&P. If you are getting a badlands with Lux and leather which of the 3 are you supposed to get? The descriptions and images all look the same. Seems like they copy pasted them for B&P.
I'd like to see this mounting solution with the heavy duty steel modular bumper on a badlands.
Looks like it doesn't block camera or Lux package, so could be good for owners with Lux package.
The defender has 2x payload as Jeep or Bronco. This was one area Ford should of copied the Defender instead of the Jeep. Better for Overlander (lots of gear) and people that add a ton of accessories to there rig and still want to carry a passenger or two.
I'd guess that most Jeeps over way...
I really don't get TFL, they always compare apples and oranges. The 4running has hiway gears and 32's. The Bronco has 35's and 4.70:1 gears. On my Jeep when I wen from stock to 33's my MPG went from 19ish to 14/15 on a 1999 Sahara. Biggest factor in MPG is the gearing which is normally...
Ford sent us an email that said we would order MY22 on 9/13, seems that got pushed, they should send another email and re-confirm the new planned dates.
We need more details on what an Everglades is (like is it built or badlands or ??).
Be nice is the new Desert Sand color was available on all trim levels.
I want to see someone test it with Lux package and report on how intercooler is working and how Adaptive cruise and front camera are working.
In my Raptor I've been complain since I got it that it should have 2 senors as it does not detect a car until its close to middle or nose. Seems 2...
These steps are very nice, but my wife worries that someone will step between the step and body and break a leg and then sue us. I'm 6'2" so I don't need a step, but I have a lot of short friends so was looking at these.
I've heard of other cars needing the battery trick to fix electronics too. I guess its like Ctrl-Alt-Del on a PC (or power cycling if that doesn't work).
The bronco's are mostly steel, I think only doors, hood have aluminum?
Its the F150's that are all Aluminum.
Do they relocated the radar cruise control sensor that is located just below the stock bumper?
IMO Ford should of used 2 sensors on sides instead of one middle as my 2019 Raptor has issues detecting a merging car until its 1/2 way into my lane. 2 sensors would catch the on comming car sooner...
In my Raptor I use the sport mode to hold a lower gear on long down hills. Raptor also has a feature were you can hit the "-" paddle shifter to limit the top gear to some thing lower.
I'll miss both of these on the badlands, I guess I'll have to use M mode more.
Does anyone have an idea when the MY22 build and price is up and we can see the colors in there? MY22's are supposed to begin ordering on Sept 13th so you'd think that they would not want to repeat the happenings of MY21?
Not all modes allow front camera to be on at high speeds. most of the ford video's I saw they switch to Baja mode to get that functionality.
The street modes definitely don't allow this for legal reasons.
