better to attach to the axle/arms.
Wheel baskets are better for smaller cars, but NEVER use a wheel basket and an axle strap. the axle straps rely on tension forward and back, and wheel baskets hold down. so the axle straps will end up loose.
Badlands owner, I tried out baja mode for a minute, and realized it locks your display to a camera view?
And while that makes it pretty useless as a sport mode on the road, can I get to the wheel camera without being in an offroad mode? because it was nice for curb parking... but I dont see...
doesnt appear so, the grill is solid behind the letters, save for the mounting holes. I think it would need a lot of depth too, even if I wanted to make them thicker than the stock ones..
Typically you go for the a-arm. though some use the frame for the front on an IFS truck.
Pretty sure the only wrong way is to do a wheel basket in front and axle strap in the rear. (and Id say the bronco is a bit too big for wheel baskets on all 4 wheels)
yep, I think that version was .8MM thick, I tried as much as 2MM thick, then I tried 4mm thick with a fill, I tried putting a solid layer over the LEDs to act as a scatter filter closer to the LEDs (helped a little).
I even tried putting little sphere mounds in the inside of the surface under...
I really wanted a light up bronco grill letter that matched the factory proportions, and lit the face.
Well... I tried, even used addressable LEDs (I dreamt of making animated turn signals or start up sequences or something cool). but I just cant figure out a way to make the lighting more...
bet it isnt the shape. Those fenders may not be final production, could just be prototype parts. Or they could be padded to disguise the shape. Other raptors in camo have clearly "fake" fenders, so it would be a bit presumptive to say the other ones are the final design.
you realize this is just some random persons interpretation of what might be under the camo?
right?
cause if feels like no one in this thread realizes that...
depends what "early" means.
MIC top right now is probably somewhere around midnight on 7/13/2020 (night of the announcement).
we know the a large % of reservations came in the first 2 days, so it should start to accelerate at some point, but if you werent in as of 7/14 at the latest, you may...
it has shown up as a constrained commodity, but it is being built regularly, but could otherwise slow your order down from being scheduled. The exact impact is impossible for us to know.
so... we are blaming Ford for the assumption of whoever imagined this render for the flares he concocted?
I mean... maybe they look like that... but I sincerely doubt it. might look better, might be worse, definitely wont be that...
as someone who would love to buy a soft top from Ford, and would certainly take a like new used top...
I think you could get more. A lot of people want the 2nd station that ford top has and bestop does not.
it stayed that way? it will read higher if your parked in a sunny black top lot.
though on a 66degree day... thats still a reach. and should have come down to a normal reading soon after either way.
If it keeps reading way over, bring it in
maybe 22 out of 30,000 is just "normal" failure rate.
would be strange for engine failures specific to bronco considering how the internals of the engine are likely the same in all the other cars using the engine
high volume dealers get more vehicles.
They may also get more orders...
being the only bronco at a low volume dealer is potentially better than order 3700 at a major dealer
thats where franchise laws come into play. At worst, they get sued for breach of contract, since their franchise agreement likely did not include language about allocation penalties for independent pricing.
at best, they are starving a dealer who has exclusive rights to sell their product in...
most put them into the rear glass now, but cant do that on a soft top.
a shorter antenna will get worse reception, though its only likely to matter if your at the edge of the range, in the city it wont matter.
