Ive got my MIC top and Im not replacing it with a MOD top so I have no skin in this game, I really hope it works great.

ford will charge as much or more for the mod top after original purchase. Looking at jeep tops, they are 3k minimum for a low end MIC top

I think your about $2500 short. seriously, Ill be shocked if its less than 4k, but I expect closer to 5. Ill be totally honest though... slightly worried that they dont make a hard top for the jeep... fenders and hoods is a long way from a modular hard top, dealing with latches and weather...

make sure the latch over the B pillar is fully latched. but yeah, its an awning at best, it keeps rain out with overlap and overhang. but the actual seal is just some weatherstripping pressing against the frame. It is what it is, hard top is a more secure alternative.

yikes, I think a garage would be best to keep the doors off... otherwise, what about rain?

depends what the failure rate is. if its 1 in 100, then replacing 1 engine is cheaper than replacing 100 sets of valves. Also depends if it rises to the level of legal action or if their liability ends after 5 years when the powertrain warranty ends.

crazy, the camera on the 12" is suprisingly high def, and I was impressed at how bright it is too

I imagine its deeply integrated. maybe the code is latent in there... maybe theres a vacant plug in a harness somewhere you just need to tap into. or maybe not...

you could still trigger them off a relay though, or is that what you did?

lol I feel this, not fat, but not tall either. I gotta slide on the edge of the seat to get in. Doesnt help that its too cold to apply the sill gaurds so I refuse to put my foot on the painted sill as a step yet.

I like it! I feel like the gloss grill sandwiched between flat black hood and flat black bumper needs... something. Not sure what though, flatblack? maybe... Or maybe Id hate that. cant decide.

why not a summer soft top? Thats my plan anyway. though I dont like the bestop solution so Im waiting for the ford top to be sold, or a different 3rd party option that folds all the way back.

you plan on towing it long distance? mountains? It really should be fine either way, bronco is rated for 3500lbs, and those ratings are typically conservative for the worst possible case.

I got the ford liners, because they are the best looking of the bunch by a mile. do wish there was more coverage under the pedals, probably worried about a toyota situation or something. Owell, luckily Im not in snow climate, so its not a huge deal for me.

I didnt try hitting the camera button, Ill have to try that. I think I was in 4A in baja mode... which I switched back to 2H manually for on road use. And it was OK with that...
