First one was at stock, 2nd one went on after the lift. I had noticed the tear when I put the lift on. Its only a 2" collar lift. That one lasted a few miles.
Im waiting on a new rear driveline, ive gone through my 2nd upper seal (one where the cv bolts to tcase). This one with less than 20 miles on it the boot tore.
Question is, I have a small vibration at low speeds due to this, but at highway speeds its fine. How long can I safely drive on it, or...
Ford warrantied my rear drive line as the boot was torn and it was causing a vibration. This was a week and a half ago, and now I'm in the boat again.
The boot was torn on the first one before I did my lift, and the second one after the lift, (2" icon spacer lift) so I don't think that's it...
Im running the ICON spacer kit currently, I would REALLY like to know the angles of the upper/lower arms and axle/tie rods on a kit like this vs my icon. Can you post up the angles as its sits on a sasquatch?
That really would be a good route. Even having to get a taper bit and open the knuckles wouldnt be a big deal. That has been the common upgrade for most of the off road industry for a long time.
