  1. Does SAS package now come with front locking hubs?

Oh yeah, massive camber changes but it seemed to ride and handle well on and off road. It seemed to make the inside tire bite harder in a turn versus other ifs's, especially 2 wds. This was very similar to the twin I beam on the f series 2 wds. I still remember the tv adds driving on the 2 x4...
  2. Does SAS package now come with front locking hubs?

Was not the '80's f series front ends "tru IFS"? I would consider my '83 F150 as such and it had hubs, (no vacuum).
  3. Does SAS package now come with front locking hubs?

Would love to have locking hubs as my '16 super duty has. Less drag and component wear (won't work with auto 4wd though). How often do you use 4wd anyway. I'm a dinosaur and don't mind locking hubs when necessary and mechanical engaged transcases. They have always worked when I needed them over...
  4. Help! My gf put antifreeze as windshield fluid

DON'T EVER ADD BLINKER FLUID TO ANY OTHER RESERVOIR!!!!! IT WILL REACT BADLY. SEEN IT HAPPEN.
  5. Oil pressure sensor alert after oil change - solved for now

The orings may have been changed but not seated properly. One could then have been cut when reassembled. Something to be mindful of.
  6. Does the 2-Door actually exist?

Here I have seen 1 two door and only 2 hard top 4 drs (1 is mine). Several soft tops.
  7. Replacement 2.7 engine timeline.

So curious to see how long it has taken those of us with blown 2.7's to receive replacement engines. The few mentioned seem to vary from 10 days to 8 weeks. When did your engine go down and how long before engine arrived. I know some of the time involved is diagnosis and jumping threw hoops for...
  8. Left the Jeep Wrangler for Ford Bronco, my first impressions after crossing 1K miles

My black diamond was steadily increasing from 18 mpg (eco and easy accelerating) to 22.5 with 3900 miles and then ******************** it blew up 7/1. Watch out for good mpg's as it is an engine killer.
  9. Almost worse than a blown 2.7 engine!

Jeep owners are no different than any other demographic, Bronco owners included. By far the greatest number of them are great people with a very few bad eggs. Don't make group judgements based on the few.
  10. Almost worse than a blown 2.7 engine!

    BUILT 08/03/21 ENGINE 21169
  11. Almost worse than a blown 2.7 engine!

Didn't ask for help. He graciously offered. I offered to pay him and he refused. Just a real good person and I hope I can pay his kindness forward.
  12. Almost worse than a blown 2.7 engine!

I am sorry. After reading your response the way I wrote this didn't come across as intended. I meant it to be tongue in cheek and to show that most driver/owners in this category are good people regardless of what they drive. After all we are all wanting to protect and be good examples of our...
  13. Almost worse than a blown 2.7 engine!

Well it finally happened. Received my Bronco in November (dirt mtn) and have put 3900 miles on it, engine build date 21169. 2.7 engine let loose this morning on way to work. Only one thing worse could have happened and it did!!!!! A Jeep driver stopped and towed me out of traffic to get it off...
  14. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Finally it is my turn. Engine let got this morning on way to work, no warning noises. Kid I work with was behind me. He said he saw a couple of puffs of smoke from underneath and when she let go white smoke boiled out from underneath and the tailpipe. Said he could smell antifreeze and oil...
  15. OH NO 2.0 MIC Hard Top Delaminating!?!?!!!

Mine is an 8/3/21 build. It is a dirt mtn refugee. The top has stickers dating it made or installed 9/21/21.
  16. 🚨 Attention MGV Owners 🚨

Was sure that my '21 bd was 100% mgv but checked anyway. To my surprise, it has cloth on both front seats alongside the console. Might this be a 4 dr thing, (mine is 4d). Built in August of '21. After looking at the pictures again, I rechecked. Mine has a cloth skirt about 2"s below top edge of...
  17. Service department reimbursement

Your dealer may unfortunately be caught up in a hazmat or orm situation. Paint and other materials can't be airfreighted and warranty usually won't pay for freight. The way things are now, the usual is the unusual. UPS next day air from some locations to my Deere dealer is now 2 days. I know...
