    I've swapped. I don't think it's going to move a lot, but it may jiggle a bit. There is a metal prong on the bottom side below that tab, it has some play but it takes a big pull to get it to pop loose.

    There could be rail dust which is rust from the train tracks, its iron oxide so its a redish brown color.

    I bet that engine was built during the questionable valve build period. Check the engine Julian build date to know if it does fall into the period.

    No need for a mount, both gaiagps and onX offroad are compatible with Android Auto and Carplay so boom small mobile screen becomes 8"/12" screen. That said Gaiagps isn't a full featured app on Android Auto, but you can use the app on phone when connected unlike google maps.

    Using your phone with perferred mapping software is the way to go unless you are bumping up to a Lowrance system ($$$$). I have an Android running Gaiagps when in the woods/mountains/desert. For city navigation I use google maps.
