I tried with just my knees hold the bumper and loosen up all 5 screws. But could not make any much different. The gap is now slightly less than 1 inch on passenger side but on driver side is 1/2 inch. What is your gap after you adjusted?

There is noticeable side step gap on my outerbank. I thought it should be covered with the side step installed part of outerbank standard. Does the dealer /factory install this incorrectly? Is there any way to close this gap?
