Took it in again yesterday. They took it apart and re-assembled it and said they're pretty confident they stopped the leak.... I'm not LOL. They have another Bronco in the shop for about a month waiting on the same seal that's on national backorder until March FWIW.
You just need to decide if the $399 is worth it to YOU. People are pretty split on this, but I have yet to see a single person bring up a warranty claim being denied because they installed it themselves. I did mine about a month ago - was about 15 or 20 minutes in my driveway with a laptop...
I took the TurboSmart BOV off and put the stock recirculatory valve back on. Still makes the sneezing sound. I know a lot of people really love the Injen on the 2.3l, but I couldn't be more disappointed. Can't hear any intake sound from the cab, and it does like a double spsh when shifting in...
Thank you Strizzo. I'm confident that the O-Ring is in the right spot, same as the outer O-Ring that is now seating up against the washer. I think I'm going to put the stock recirculatory valve back on and see if it still does it?
Okay, sounds crazy. I have a 24' Badlands, 2.3l 7spd manual. I installed the TurboSmart BOV and it sounded great. A month later I installed the Injen CAI and the AFE hot/cold turbo charge pipes. Install went fine, except for the fact that the TurboSmart BOV did not sit flush on the new AFE...
I could be 100% wrong, but I believe these are two completely different hard tops and you cannot just take parts from one and install on another. And I don't believe Ford will be selling the painted hard top a la carte anytime soon. But maybe I'm incorrect!
Plus it looks like you have the painted top like I do (if the Bronco in your avatar is yours). If that's the case, I don't believe the rear side windows are even removable, so no point in keeping them in even if you did agree with the NOOOOOOOOO group. On a side note, does your painted top...
I had those on mine too. I looked up what the purpose of them were and the internet was split. Half the people were saying to remove them and that the dealership should have done it during the PDI. The other half said NOOOOOOOOO do not remove them!!!! LOL. Something about removing the...
So I have a question. I ran into this same exact problem - the AFE charge pipes did not allow for the TurboSmart BOV to seat correctly. I used a washer and it appears to be flush now. I installed the Injen CAI at the same time. Now when I get on it and shift (7spd manual) I get the spssshhhh...
I have the EXACT same problem. I took delivery of my 2024 Badlands Sasquatch on November 15th. As soon as I looked inside I noticed standing water on the hero switches, dripping down the 12" entertainment screen. And I don't mean just a little.... I went in to the dealership and they didn't...
