from your pic it looks like they used this bolt. I think bending up some metal and making a simple mount for the module wont be too hard, hopefully would be part of the same bracket as the ARB one.

It's hard to see from my pic without zooming on the high res one but the control module is looks like its bolted to something here. I don't have my bronco yet so I can only speculate.

Their mount was impressive. Hauk was one other brand that had a bumper mounted spare that did a similar opening mechanism with the swing gate. Another option i really liked was RTR that actually just replaced the swing gate hinges for beefier hinges instead.

The damage sounds minor, if the fix was quality then I see no reason to pass on it. They did their job and got it fixed right away. They were probably waiting to have the hood fixed before notifying you it was ready for pickup.
