Anyone else find spare parts in their Bronco? Found the gray fastener on the rear floor and the others in my skid plate during my first oil change. I’ll count this as a win as the nut (LCA I believe) is about $8 from Ford.
Here’s what my 985mi oil looked like. Is it necessary? (Insert Patches O'Houlihan quote). Changing it early makes me feel warm and fuzzy and that’s a good enough reason.
I’ve noticed my Bronco likes to warm up (over about 110°F) before it likes to run real smooth. After putting an exhaust on it, it’s obvious the cold start is running pretty fat and high idle; it doesn’t always take off real smooth until warm.
I'm not sure how severe your issue was but I'm hoping mine is fixed by me tucking the seal back into where it appeared to belong. I tucked it behind 1/2 roof brackets in the 2nd pic and both in the 3rd. Time will tell if the adjustment keeps me from getting wet.
Got my Bronco about a week ago. Hasn’t really rained much except last night. This morning on the way to work a few drops of water hit the back of my hand pulling out of the driveway. I pulled the panels off after work and noticed this seal looked odd. The way it was positioned seemed to prevent...
My gf has it on her HR-V and I can’t stand it. I prefer the old school way of cruise control just holding the speed and I change lanes or reduce speed when I need to. My base sas is perfect for me.
My Manual Sasquatch feels like a monster version of my old 6 speed mini cooper S. The clutch takes some getting used to, but I’m glad I waited for what I really wanted.
Do you have a OBD II scanner? If not, I would take it to someplace like oreillys and have them pull the codes. You may find it’s something super simple like a loose charge pipe. I’d probably do that before taking mine back to the dealer.
I have a 72 K5 and if Chevy would have came out with a retro revival first I probably would have gone that route. But, they massacred it and Ford is taking advantage of the situation.
