FYI on the Rhino RB20's - I have them on my Ram. They are tapered, the front of the step is about 1.5" wider than the rear. If you are ocd about parallel lines, don't pick these. They do work and look great otherwise.
Test drove this one at Glen Polk in Gainesville (north of DFW). OBX with 2.7 and SAS. Drove really well even with the short wheelbase, and looks great in velocity blue. Nice to see a 2dr like what I have ordered to get a feel for access/cargo space etc.
Got the same email tonight, was week of 8/9 now 8/16. The joke at home now is the '22 superduty I ordered 3weeks ago may get delivered first. It is scheduled for 8/30 build week
I had amp steps on my grand cherokee. The controller is sealed and tucked away, but the step motors are not 100% sealed, and I had one that got soaked and corroded and would only function intermittently. Nice when they worked, but the mechanism and motors do not like very dusty, wet, dirty...
I’d wait for the first replacement coil springs to start showing up. The Sasquatch bilsteins are really good, all you need is a spring or spacer to pick up about 1-2” to clear 37’s . None of the aftermarket shocks so far have the top out/bottom out damping stiffening like the bilsteins or...
My dealer just said their system is showing my previously 8/9 build 'in production'. No window sticker is available so far yet. Of course the trackers don't show any change either, but it may be worth checking if you have a cooperative dealer. 8/9 window stickers should start being visible...
Forscan is the right tool to do the speedo reprogramming. I have used it on my mustang and its commonly used on the other ford trucks. Looks great with the zero offset, I was afraid of zero offset sticking out too far.
If you want to see them in action, warts and all, they were used in the' long way up' motorcyle series as chase trucks for the harley live wires that were ridden up the length of south america by Ewan mcgregor and Charley Boorman. Actually fared pretty well for very early pre-production...
For the metallic colors touch ups usually need repainting and blending to the neighboring panels to look best. All depends on the skill of the painter in tweaking the tint of the pain they get. On one of our cars, there was a tint code in the VIN, that we used when painting up some new...
2dr CO badlands mid pkg
Day 1 reservation (early 7/14)
Received VIN on 4/22 scheduled for 6/28 then 7/19, now 8/9 (email from 6/25)
Will check next week to see if it sticks, have been checking for the WIndow sticker daily also.
These are the codes that ForScan can modify to enable disable some features. When you first use Forscan you download and save the AsBuilt codes directly from the vehicle before changing them . Looks like this is another repository in case you lose your originals.
