  1. What percentage of Bronco electrical problems are caused by aftermarket accessories?

There are so many wrong ways of doing things- electrical or mechanical. And only one right way- at least most of the time. I have seen more botched up stuff over the years on many cars and trucks. Just people not knowing what they are doing- and they think they are. If something is done...
  2. Long Term Drivers’s Seat Wear

My wife and I try to step on the plastic door sill and boost with our leg up and in. Same getting out- I try and hop out and minimize the drag on the seat. There's always some drag but we try and minimize it. My wife is small though 5'4 and 100 LBS. I'm 6' 1", long legs and it's easier for...
  3. Bronco vs. F150

It sounds like the F150 wins- for practicality. I will add from experience that you can have practicality and fun too- by having a utility trailer. And as long as you have property and/or a place to store it. I once had property in the past and owned a 2006 Jeep TJ along with a 5 X 8 utility...
  4. Bronco vs. F150

Both is ideal but expensive. For me I'm going into retirement very soon and can only have one vehicle. And one classic truck which is only 400 a year to insure.
  5. Bronco vs. F150

Interesting post! I am in a very similar dilemma. I need a pick up.......but love my 2022 Bronco 2 door Sasquatch. My wife and I love biking, paddle boarding and kayaking, fishing. We often go on vacation hauling paddle boards, kayaks and or our bikes. We currently use her standard cab 2013...
  6. K&N paper filters on par with Motorcraft or stick to OEM?

I just bought one of these K & N paper filters as a spare. Looks good, I have not yet installed it though.
  7. Auto Start/Stop Only Functions Intermittently

I brought mine into the dealership when my start stop was not working as good as it used to. Bronco was approaching 3 years old at the time and I thought it might be the battery and was hoping to get a replacement. Nope, they tested everything and everything is fine, charging system is...
  8. Discount Tire Turned Me Down

After reading this I will for sure remove my trim rings before changing tires. The Torx is a special size and the screws are held in the Loc-Tite from what I read and are difficult to remove and can strip easily- correct?
  9. .

I lived most of my life in Massachusetts where the roads are salted heavily in the winter. I had so many nice vehicles over the years, kept meticulous. The key was- as has been stated already to rinse the undercarriage. I also sanded, painted and undercoated chassis components and axles in...
  10. Bronco reliability

Mine's been pretty good over the 39 months and 16K miles I have owned it. Only a couple of recalls that were addressed, no other issues at all so far. 2 door Sas 2.7 pretty much stock except for CAT back exhaust. Only routine maintenance done- oil changes and tire rotations.
  11. How many miles are on your gen6 Bronco?

Only 16K since 4/1/22. Only drive it on the weekends and only once in a while to work due to the MPG and very small gas tank. My work commute is 80 miles a day round trip.
  12. 24.5 mpg on a recent trip to the OBX

No I drive about 10 MPH over the speed limit on the back roads and don't hold up any traffic although I am not one of those people who drive 60 MPH to a light and slam on my brake last second and cause someone to rear end someone else behind me or further back. I have never seen an accident...
  13. 24.5 mpg on a recent trip to the OBX

It's my driving style. I drive a lot and my work commute is 80 miles a day round trip. I drive very light footed and coast to all stop lights. Slow take offs always. Most of my speeds are 50-54 MPH steady using cruise on back roads. Even at 20+ MPG I cannot afford to drive the Bronco back...
  14. Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust installed video

Nice and detailed video on the install. I went with the MBRB CAT back dual system, myself, did the install at home. It was super easy. Sounds similar but it still is a V6 engine.
  15. Creaky Clutch Pedal possible fix

I have had a few creaky clutches in the past. Cleaning and/or re-lube has always worked. Grease and lube dries out especially in the heat in FL where I live. Newer vehicles only 1 or 2 years old got creaky clutches. Always been an easy fix.
  16. Mesh Bimini + Rain?

I only put the mesh mini bimini on the removeable front panels on my 2 door when there is no rain forecast. Interior could get really soaked otherwise and it's not that quick to change from mesh to the tops. And in the 2 door there is not much room to store the tops so I leave them home.
  17. Anyone order a Stroppe?

Nice, I thought to get a Ranger Raptor but it's out of my pay grade. I read that they are almost as fast as the F150 Raptors.
  18. Help me with muffler delete

Perfect description of the improvement. And 1 MPG improvement is pretty good! I'd be happy with that. I only got .1 improvement with MBRB dual exit CAT back. Same driving habits. I got 22.7 before , now 22.8. Still terrible for my 80 mile a day commute to and from work with the tiny gas...
  19. Help me with muffler delete

As stated it's very hard to get good sound from a turbo 4 or 6. I am happy with my MBRP CAT back on my 2.7 Bronco but would not do it again. Minimal if any performance and no MPG gain. I had a 2017 Camaro with the V6 and tried multiple exhaust systems- MBRP and even had a custom one made-...
  20. Ford lowers pricing on 2025 Broncos (Raptor dropped by $10k)

Still a crazy price. And still not a V8. I would not bite even for 50K.
