It’s actually a bit diabolical if you think about it - if you’re one of the hundreds of Granger customers that won’t change your order for a guaranteed build slot, the ones that do change effectively ensure that you won’t get your vehicle until the allocation debit is cleared. It could be years...
I’m in the same boat as far as the update version and failed attempt. Talked to the OTA team at Ford and they suggested I take it to the dealer for them to address it. They don’t think it will attempt any more OTA updates.
Out of curiosity, did you make any Forscan changes? Looking through the...
If you can PM me the thread size and length I’ll replace with stainless. I may have some on hand. Thanks
The only real harm is if the head strips out or cracks off when you go to remove. It’s still early enough that this likely won’t be a problem. I’m not chancing it with road salt in the...
Same issue - Badlands high package. Fuses are good. Had a dash cam plugged in to the USB port for 6mos before it went after a windshield replacement. Will get it addressed at my next oil change.
I use my soft top in position 1 daily or whenever it isn’t raining. I finally located the non stop squeeking to this fan-shaped “catch” above the rear window.
Added some petrogel lube inside the catch and that solved it for me. The catch looks like it’s made from some type of glass...
Scratches, tool marks, and chipping powder coat on mine as well. Paint chips inside the foam lined product box so durability is highly questionable. The galvanized finish wont hold up to salt used on our snowy roads. Will sandblast and send out for powder coat myself.

To be clear, I have the base system, not B&O. I saw a rub mark on the inside of the passenger side grill. When I press that area while it is rattling, it stops. I get no rattle on driver side.
I’m not the OP but bought these same speakers. For sure they are rubbing on the passenger side grill and causing the dash to rattle in that area with music that has a little bass. I haven’t had time to try and add some foam tape to insulate. But just a heads up for anyone interested in these.
I had the same question and sent an inquiry to Ford about it. I haven’t heard back yet. The PDF owner’s manual and video manual in the infotainment system is a little vague IMO.
I’ve driven mine in 4A on both wet and dry streets, light snow covered streets, and in dirt at Badlands off-road park...
Thanks for the suggestion. Wasn’t sure if the mods would move it.
You have a 4-door? Let me know what you want for the tube steps either by PM or here.
Thanks
Looking to swap my grey Badlands grille for gloss black FE/Wildtrak. In NW burbs but willing to travel an hour or so. Can do the swap indoors in my shop or just hand them off.
Also interested in swapping rock sliders for tube steps.
