Mike, what makes these easier to use than the guide pins that come with the truck? Just nutting these, whereas you have to remove the factory supplied pins and put the bolts back in? Does the additional height make them that much easier to align? Thanks

Nothing yet. I don’t wheel mine hard and haven’t noticed any negative effects so far. I may revisit it back in the spring or keep my eye open for a factory tire carrier for sale.

Sorry to revive and old thread, but for anyone with a Badlands non-sas hoping these will work with a 0 offset wheel - they don’t. They come up short still. I forgot that the tire carriers are different between Sas and non-sas. Hope that saves someone a few bucks and some time.

Sure, if they don’t have Badlands or the Sasquatch package. You’ll be fine otherwise.

As mentioned in the post, removed the crash bars and used Forscan to change the tire circumference. You could also do this with the Ford Performance Pro Cal. No lift required.

Sorry for not giving an update. I actually found out my dash cam cable was nicked causing a ground short. The second cable I tested with also turned out to be bad. So the usb port was either working fine the whole time, or powered back up after I replaced the cable.
