I have changed out mine twice now and do alot of Highway driving in AZ. I actually put a protective film on mine but this one has faded or stained due to it sitting for a month when I was gone and getting the rear axle changed out. The AZ heat with a few monsoon storms didn't help. But love...
Yeah, I have the Baja Kit Long travel kit currently and actually plan on changing out the shock towers to get even more travel out of these Bronco's similar to what the APG has done with their setup.
You still have limitation with the stock connecting piece. The issues is I'm on a full Baja Kit Long Travel system as well. So it's already off a bit. Even at disconnect with the sway bar it wouldn't be like a full disconnect if you took these end links or stock off.
Why wouldn't these work for a Badlands and I'm assuming you would have one in the works to work with a badlands? How extended can these go for those who are pushing the limits of their travel. I actually plan on making my travel more then what a BRaptor can go to similar to like the APG ProRunner.
So if you're really looking for the best one I would say the American Adventure once they actually release it to the general public. But currently from all I have seen that is out on the market would be the Goose Gear Table or Outback Adventures Table.
Is your left side your drivers side because I have the same issue and it seems to be the drivers side that has been the issue for most of these plug welds that have come up.
Im curious the ones you actually have issues with or bad looking plug welds are they on your Drivers Side? There has been more and more plug welds more on the drivers side that have been coming up. Another gentleman has the same issue with only 1200 miles on his and was just denied by Ford as well.
If you're building truss that is designed for these rear axles I would get on it soon. Sounds like more and more people are experience the rear plugs coming out on these axles.
Most of the ones that are mentioned started with 35’s not 33’s. Sasquatch come stock with 35’s but 37’s won’t add the much more stress in the axle from a 35 to 37 on these axles.
I would say I would be very interested in helping but I'm out in AZ and I have the Tomahawk Whipple Tune on mine with the Whipple Intercooler. Need the intercooler piping next.
