I know Mike with the Blue 2-Door did add fuel, but I donāt think he needed it, I think it was just emptying weight off the spare tire where he kept his fuel containers.
I made it back to S. Lake Tahoe with about 2 gallons of fuel in the tank, and didnāt tap into the spare 2-gallons I had.
it was a concern, which affected our decision on which tent we went with. The tent we have is about 110lbs. We added more weight to the very bottom with the next venture belly skid system, and next venture rock sliders⦠so the center of gravity should be unchanged, just overall rig is heavier...
One of the best looking 4x4s ever built. Iād love to have one, but to find one clean enough would make me feel guilty about what Iād want to do to it š
I think it was a culmination of getting drug on multiple ledges over the first two days, but finally let go right as we rolled into Rubicon Springs⦠the last real obstacle we did, it was still attached.
the brackets are cheap, $60-70 each⦠and just need longer bolts to hammer deep enough back...
and hereās the only pic I have the rear bumper damage, it completely ripped out the threads on the driver side, and bent the brackets on the passenger side up to the š

We were definitely lucky to do the trail with a great group, and they did some phenomenal spotting! Seeing their EBs work the trail makes me want to add one to the stable!
Ours is a base, so I donāt have a front camera, but I wouldāve loved to have it in this instance!
