2022 Basesquatch 2 door, 17K miles. Garaged most of the time in So. Florida. Very hot here most of the time and the sun is intensely hot. I have been applying 303 protectant to the top often. Never had the top off. No cracks.
They are for sure open differentials. I once turned off on a trail that had a huge washout where it met the road- was a huge ditch. It was not even and I end up getting high centered in 4WD- one rear and one front wheel off the ground opposite sides. I had to lock one of the differentials to...
I had a lot of chips and marks before I installed the Rock Rails. I was going to install body molding/pinch weld covers although I got the Rails for a 4 door on FB Marketplace for $100, cut them to fit my 2 door. They helped immensely and look so good too.
Since my shocks look pretty good and are not leaking I won't get the band aid fix. They may never rust through as I live in Fl. If they start leaking I'll bring it in. If they still do the band aid fix, I'll just get new aftermarket shocks. The band aid fixt is just to prevent the shocks...
Not liking it. Might as well sand and scrape in between the shocks and seal them myself at home. Then just replace them and the front ones when they wear out, or even sooner just to get better shocks.
There's so many threads on this- correct oil amount on the 2.7. And the dip stick- is it correct or not from the factory. Mine has always shown over filled- up to the twist on the dip stick since new. When I change the oil I put in 6.5 quarts and it comes up to the twist every time. If I had...
Over 3 years now with 2022 2 door Basesquatch with 2.7. Well past the honeymoon phase- and yes still love it. I spec'd it out, reserved it, waited 2 years. So glad I got the base with cloth seats and the Sasquatch package. Got it exactly as I wanted it, color and options. When you spec...
My Bronco is ever further south where the sun is even more brutal. It's not outside all the time but the fender flares and top get real hot when in the sun. I have been applying 303 protectant to the fender flares, bumpers, front end and top. I apply regularly and more often in the summer...
Nice rig, love the color! I agree the 2.7 has so much torque- it easily climbed the grades in Blueridge mountains in Ga when we vacationed there 2 years ago. I was really impressed. And still got reasonable fuel economy around 22 MPG on 87 octane fuel. Our cabin was on a dirt road steep grade...
Gosh I am so glad I am able to still do all of my own work at 67 years old. My wife and I have 4 vehicles and I do all of the maintenance on them and even some moderately heavy repair work too. I use the oil and filters I want, rotate the tires properly, don't scratch the wheels, clean them...
Those of you looking to sell your Bronco, I had good luck with KBB cash offer. Not on my Bronco but on my 2023 Chevy Colorado. After I submitted I had local dealers contacting me immediately bidding higher than what they offered me initially. As long as when I brought it in, it was what I said...
My 2022 2 Door Sas with 2.7 seems to have maintained excellent value. When I checked KBB value it was more than what I initially paid. Not bad after 3 years. It has very low miles though- 16K. And the 2 door can no longer be obtained with a V6 unless you get the Bill Stroppe edition. I...
My work commute is flat roads, temps 80-93, mostly 50-55 MPH using CC, a few stops in between. Most of the time AC is off although I do run it when it's over 93. I have a 2 door, it is lighter than a 4 door and the base model so it's one of the lightest ones. I am stock except for MBRB dual...
I have run 87 in my 2.7 2 door Sas for over 3 years now. No issues, runs great and I average 22.9 MPG. I drive with a light foot and the 2.7 has plenty of torque running 87.
Thanks- I really appreciate the tip on the 3.0 diesel. I was very hesitant due to the extra cost for the diesel. For high miles in a short time you do re-coup the cost, you have done your homework on the math. For shorter overall mileage there was not much savings for me. I test drove the...
Wow and I thought I had low miles on my 2022 Bronco I have owned for 3 years and 4 months, with 16,200 miles.
I had a 2019 Chevy Silverado Double Cab, 4 X 4 LD Work truck- the old style leftover previous Gen, so it was really a 2018. Base, even had the lever for the 4 X 4 shifter, LOL. It had...
Wow cool! My wife and I were just there 3 weeks ago for a weeks vacation. We loved it there so much we are thinking of moving to a neighboring town- Palatka. Nice you can drive your 4 X 4 on the beach. We fished off of the beach a little south of St Augustine and had a blast- caught so many...
