  1. Root Cause Analysis - MIC Top Failures

Mine's been fine. But root cause analysis sounds like my job LOL- might as well do a fish bone diagram, cause and effect matrix, etc. Too much of this over the years LOL in quality working for various medical manufacturing companies. Root cause could be anything- until you go through a formal...
  2. Is it worth it to have the swing gate replaced under warranty?

I took the black plate off near the top and aimed at where the mounting supports might be- near the hinges and other areas where I thought might be mounting points for brackets or screws. I followed one of the other posts where it was explained. I did one application, then let it sit for a...
  3. Is it worth it to have the swing gate replaced under warranty?

I would definitely try the white lithium grease. My 22 had the ticking noise and I was reluctant to try the lithium grease. Finally I caved, sprayed the grease in as instructed in the forum and the noise went completely away.
  4. Borla Cat Back or Axel Back

Wow sensitive thread. Yes exhaust sound is subjective for sure. I personally like throaty exhaust sound- not loud or raspy. It is very subjective though for "loud" and "throaty" and even "raspy". Given all that I love my MBRP CAT back dual exit on my 2.7 V6 2 door. The stock exhaust was way...
  5. New 2025 base

Yes, the V6 is only available with automatic. And at the time of the reveal the 4 cylinder base you could not get Sas with a manual- that came later.
  6. Recommended dual exhaust cat back?

I think it sounds great actually- for a V6, anyway. But sound is interpreted differently by people. People that have heard it say it sounds like a stock Raptor exhaust. It looks great too and fit and finish were top notch. I have had very good experience with MBRP overall.
  7. Auto Start-Stop Rarely Works

I went through this as I don't drive my Bronco much. When it sits for a few days or even a couple days it takes time (sometimes 80 or so miles) for the battery to charge while you drive it. I now put mine on a trickle charger after it sits for a week or so and the start/stop works immediately...
  8. New 2025 base

Yes the Sasquatch package has front and rear lockers included. At the time it was a bargain to get the Sasquatch package- and you could get it on the base. It included the lockers, 35" tire package, drive modes with the stronger transfer case and the 4.70 gearing for the large tires. It was a...
  9. New 2025 base

Nice! I love the base, 2 door, manual with the steelies. Looks the most retro of all the Broncos to me. Manual transmission and 2 door- rare for sure. Must be so fun to drive- and no huge tires to bog it down. I love base myself- my Bronco being a 2 door base with only 2 options- Sasquatch...
  10. (UPDATED) Rotational squeak / squeal noise below 30mph after driving

I will leave my Heat Shield on for good. Even in 90 plus degree heat every day here in So. FL. so far so good. I have 17K miles now.
  11. tailgate interior truck bed coating

I used the Rustoleum Roll on Liner in the bed of my 87 Chevy Squarebody pick up. The stuff is good and looks really nice when done. But as already stated once on, it's not coming off unless you do extreme sanding down to bare metal.
  12. Hawk LTS Brake Pads

I have never heard of brake pads not coming with new clips........or not being able to use the old clips. I would not install new brake pads without any clips. They would just move all over the place and make lots of noise. Something does not sound right here. Another reason I try and do all...
  13. Ready for salty winter w/ Blaster Shield + Fluid Film anti rust protection spray

When I lived up north and bought vehicles brand new or slightly used where the undercarriages were nearly rust free I would undercoat and paint the undercarriage. After thoroughly washing, wiping, cleaning, removing grease, etc.- I would sand and prime as necessary, then cover the vehicle and...
  14. My 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition

Really nice- congrats! Love the color scheme. I know it is fun to drive as I have a 2022 2 door Base Sasquatch with the 2.7. Get an aftermarket 4" exhaust with 3" duals and it will sound like a Raptor. Mine does with MBRP exhaust, love it and I love driving it- anywhere. All that said Ford...
  15. Ready for salty winter w/ Blaster Shield + Fluid Film anti rust protection spray

I keep the Bronco inside most of the time and park in the shade when it is outside and the sun is out if I can. I also 303 Protect the MIC top and plastic fender flares and other black plastic on the cowl, front fascia and rear bumper often. I specifically ordered white as color too just...
  16. 45 PSI Tire Pressure too high?

I dropped from 39 on my 2 door Sas to 37. I think I'll drop to 35 or 36. At 39 the middle seems to wear faster than the edges. I'll keep adjusting to get even wear.
  17. Ready for salty winter w/ Blaster Shield + Fluid Film anti rust protection spray

Looks pretty good. It's tough living in the rust/salt belt when you love to keep your vehicles pristine. Been there done that for many, many years. Sanding, undercoating, painting undercarriage components. And rinsing the slat off after every storm- sometimes 3X a week. Retired to So Fl...
  18. New Bronco picked up yesterday, car shaking around 80mph

Most likely balance, out of round tire or bent wheel. It could be something else although these are the most likely causes. Any tire shop can balance the tires, detect out of round tire or a bent wheel. I would do this first and if it does not address it, then the issue is deeper or in the...
  19. What the hell is Ford doing?

It's terrible how much prices have gone up. I had to shell out everything I had to get my 2022 2 door Sasquatch with V6. Priced in 2019 when I ordered it was 38K and I got it for 40K at the time of delivery. The sad thing is I barely afforded it back then- and my salary is only a little more...
