I may be wrong but it seems that the highest mileage reported on this forum for a valve related engine failure was 7500. Mine failed at 3900 July 1, 2021.

My '21 BD 2.7 was one of the bad valve/keeper engines and when it failed the odo was not reset. I am pretty sure that would be illegal to do that.

From the time I learned to drive, everything I drove had poor visibility. You had to use mirrors. I can't get used to using the camera. People need to be taught how to drive.
