It comes with a ton of wires that are not used unless you have air lockers and the instructions are not terribly clear about it. This is what I had left over after I installed mine.
I had the exact same problem with the driver side and broke the connector trying to get it to "click." Wound up cutting it out and using weatherpacks. Later, I had the passenger side apart and it wouldn't click into place either. That's where I used dielectric grease and it solved my problem. I...
This picture is from American Adventure Lab's website. Yes, that is a jeep, but it does show how it mounts and how much clearance is needed. @Rivers90 , let us know how it works out.
I plan to install on a DV8 overhead molle.
I have mine wired so the backlights will come on with the running lights at night as well as from a upfitter switch for daytime use. If they are both on at the same time I get this trouble code. You may be back feeding to the running lights? If the lights don't come on at all it's something else.

On my dash, from RAM stuff I had laying around. Yes the magnet holds strong.
Cheap mag mount I found on Amazon with RAM ball and arm. (Work phone mount.) It's down low so the phone might not fly out the...

I have seen several posts asking how much the painted tops weigh, but have not seen a definitive answer. I hang my MIC top from my garage ceiling. This is somewhat risky since my ceiling joists are over-spanned and already carrying too much weight. The MIC top is only 68 pounds. No way would I...
You may want to look at scanners that are compatible with FORScan. I have the OBDLink MX+ and it stays in my Bronco. You can do much more than just read trouble codes.
I have the same concerns, they will only need access inside the tailgate.
I will remove everything that's not OEM before I have the recall work done.

Since it came from Copart, I'll guess maybe firefighters cut the cables after an accident. Someone "patched" it back together. I can see it's both positive and negative cables and the positive side melted down. Yikes!
I'm not getting a audible (or visual) alert from the app either. Probably would have never noticed if you had not asked about it since the compressor is so loud and it does shut off at the correct pressure setting.
This might be what you are looking for. Doesn't cover the seat backs, but does level it out.

Have you seen this? My battery is still OK, but when the time comes, this might be what I choose.
