You could remove the visor clip from the remote, apply some 3m adhesive and put it just about anywhere.
Does iphone have a feature similar to android's Smart Unlock? It keeps the phone unlocked when connected to a trusted bluetooth device (such as your car).
Nice. I was able to perform those same changes using the previous test release on my 2023 (2.3.51.test20230108), though I didn't add sport mode. Any chance you tried disabling the auto start/stop? I couldn't get that to stick with the last version.
I hear you about the cost of this level of...
Yeah, I understand. It's heavy stuff.
Hey, I'll be driving to San Diego sometime in June. Not a bad day trip to swing up to Hemet.
Are you equipped to do an install? My tools will be left here in Iowa.
I don't have an apple device, but I see Carplay can use the REVER app.
I've used that app with my (android) phone and to export maps to the basic nav on my motorcycle. It definitely allows the importing and of gpx files.
If you have an apple device, I'd start there. If Android, there may be...
You put some good thought into to this design and/or your copy makes me think so.
Intriguing. I like the minimal front protrusion compared some others.
I assume there's compatibility with some of the bull bar/brush guard options on the market?
Edit (ouch): Ground (UPS): $470.78
I am generally confident in my ability to figure this sort of thing out, so it is humbling to start a thread about this. I have searched and read related threads, but haven't found any insights.
Anytime I receive a text message with my phone connected through Android Auto, I hear this...
Hey, a fellow Iowan! I'm in SE Iowa. How about you?
I don't believe the size and power of this device is adequate to make this money well spent for an audio upgrade in the vehicle.
As a portable bluetooth speaker, maybe it is competitive with others on the market. But with its dual-purpose...
Can't compare to earlier years, but mine seems to work just fine without overheating.
Android device, lux w/manual.
Doesn't seem particularly fast, but it holds a charge while engaged with Android auto.
The redline elite high lift installed flawlessly for me. Not that I was expecting problems...
But kudos to them for a thoughtfully designed product with a simple installation.
And negative kudos to Ford for skimping in the first place 😝.
Indeed. I have looked at that one. But I'm intrigued by the space saving of a single device for A2B, amplification, and DSP. Space for the devices will be limited, if I go with the JL Stealthbox in the OEM sub location (if they get around to releasing it).
Did you end up using the Mobridge? I am on their list for the next batch coming later this month or early next. Curious to hear your experience if you went that route.
I'm on a list for this device from Mobridge: https://mobridge.us/product/mobridge-a2b-ford-amp/
Available late Feb/early March.
Amp for speakers and sub, with the A2B and DSP all in one box. It's not cheap at $1,579. Then again, the Zen A2B device alone is $780.
