Almost twenty five years ago a co-worker got stuck trying to cross some mud flats near the port of Brownsville. The guy he called for help also got stuck. Had Nokian Rotiiva tires on my Ram and loved them. Great in rain and snow/ice. I live in Tennessee and don't have the snow issues I had in Northern New York. You might have just hit an extra icy patch under the snow.
