I switched from a first gen 4runner.
The only thing I don't like is the room. I could lay the runners back seats flat, and lay down extended to sleep. (6'2") No way in hell can I do that in my 4door Bronco.
Completely valid. I was considering to just keep driving. I will be bringing mine in so Ford is aware of the numbers. Essentially the same as creating this poll. We must know how many are truly effected.
It's amazing we are holding to about 70% of owners having this issue. I'm thinking I will wait it out untill there is a confirmed fix. I don't want my trans opened up and molested multiple times
Weird. I might have to try some back roads speed. I've had her sideways at around 70kmph and she hasn't advantraked me. Here's a short clip I just took. Not the highest speed but if at any time, it should be activating a nanny during this you would think.
Interesting... I'll take a video of my process and show you in the snow. I can't see how it would detect sand vs snow, but with that process, I can full slide any speed without the nanny coming on.
I like my snow drifting.
I have found out, if you want full speed sliding with no nanny, you need either sport mode or Baja mode.
Those two completely remove the traction/stability, combined with holding the hero switch down of course.
The main thing that was messing me up was I wanted to...
Pretty sure windshields on every vehicle are not contained inside a frame. Nothing can stress the glass as it's placed onto the frame with goo.
I've got the exact crack size and location at 1300km, but due to starting from where a rock hit, and me not getting the chip filled.
