In some grids shifting the charging of EVs to times when demand is low (middle of the night, for example), intelligent charging, will get you a lot of capacity for "free." Using the grid when it's not heavily loaded, developing some programming or intelligence so they're not all charging at 6p...
I'll occasionally wear Georgia or Georgia Tech t-shirts, and I didn't attend either school. I'm exercising the rule that says that's permissible if you have a child that goes to school there (one at each school). :)
I wonder if any analysts took a look at the mid-July jump from $6 to $6.75 and said, yep, there's the bump from people (B6G members?) buying to get X-plan?!
Same exact situation, same sweet spot. Same thoughts about going with High or Lux if I went Badlands. I ultimately decided to go with Black Diamond without Mid, to keep the 7MT. Ford got less out of me than they could have.
Why do you insist that I take my hands off the wheel to activate wipers? Why do you think that's "fiddling"? Neither is remotely true. I should just stop riding my motorcycles, I guess. How do I ever manage to use the clutch, gas, or front brakes--simultaneously at times--while also...
Ah, so now a simple manual action without taking your hands off the wheel is cool? Got it.
Also, and I'm sure you know this, it's not primarily the physical dexterity issues that are a problem with using a cell phone while driving. It's the concentration associated with the conversation...
Funny cell phone ya got there that you can operate 1) with a single swipe; 2) without looking at it; and 3) without taking a single hand off the wheel...
Still not convinced, and I've driven (and ridden) in plenty of bad weather. I don't find it to be a distraction; there is no fiddling *if* you have well-designed controls. It's a reflex to hit the wipers, and you certainly don't have to take your hands off the wheel to do so. Hopefully the...
Completely disagree. I don't need or want either. More important to have a proper wiper control stalk where I can easily get one swipe when *I* want the wipers to come on. I'm also more than capable of turning on my own lights.
Finally got all the way through this thread...
Think again, nothing is guaranteed. I'm #187 out of 140 allocated, according to my dealer, with a 7/14 reservation (mid day, IIRC). I was told I might be a 2022, maybe a 2021 if people cancel or certain builds are pushed back
Agree...
I'm stunned at the negativity in this thread. And kudos to Eric for his post. I didn't see any firm legal contract in the text posted by the OP, you're really not going out on a limb here.
I guess I'd turn it around and ask: Why should the dealer place *your* order (your exact build) if...
The only way I'm not getting a Bronco is if I want a very nice BMW instead--wait, already have one of those. So I'm only getting it if I need a down payment on a house--nope, already have one. Well, if I see a really nice motorcycle I like--wait, already have two of those, and they're not...
Why not just look at the tires and do the math? Hopefully I'll do this right...
I think I see 255/75-17s on the Jeep. That's 17+255x0.75x2/25.4 or 32.1 inches.
Looks like 315/70-17s on the Raptor. So 17+315x0.70x2/25.4 or 35.0 inches.
I, for one, am looking forward to buying from Hothead just because they know the difference between "damp" and "dampen" and which to use in this context. Nobody really needs to make their sound wetter.
