I just received a response from Warn regarding testing they have done with the Elite bumper with a winch and intercooler air flow. Helps alleviate some concern for me, hopefully others as well.

Yeah that’s the overland style one I mentioned. Haven’t seen it actually for sale yet, but send me a link if you find one. While I’m sure it’s quite functional and provides good protection, I’m not a fan of what it does to the physical appearance of the front of the vehicle. It’s always a trade...
Even more interesting than the bumper is the roof rack they have on that MIC Sasquatch. I hope there’s a solution soon for those of us that couldn’t get roof rails with our 2.7 MIC SAS builds from the factory. I’d like some more info on that rack!
Only problem is ARB doesn’t make a winch mount bumper yet that I’ve seen. There was an overland style one previewed recently that they are working on that does, but the looks of it ruin the lines of front end IMO.
Thanks for the info- that makes me feel a bit better about things. I have zero experience with the ecoboost or any vehicle with an intercooler so I appreciate any and all info anyone can provide. I also plan on using Forscan but just learning about its capabilities. My original plan was to get...
Here’s some more detailed photos of the Warn Elite bumper along with a Zeon 10s. Having never had a vehicle with a mounted winch OR an intercooler, I didn’t foresee the possible issue with airflow. Unfortunately I already have this bumper sitting in my driveway awaiting the arrival of my bronco...
It does appear that way. Not sure why else the mounting tab with hole would be oriented in that position.
Also, I emailed Warn this morning to try and get an official answer about adequate intercooler airflow. I’ll post when I get a response. If anyone is interested in seeing more detailed...
Here is a photo of my Elite bumper showing what the inside of the mounting cavity looks like. There is small tab with a hole in it at the 1200 position that could possibly be used to mount a light. Not sure how the stock lights would interface or mount to this bumper since I haven’t seen how...
Like many others awaiting the arrival of their Bronco, I’ve been gathering accessories and add-ons to help make the wait a bit more bearable.
A Warn Zeon 10s and the Warn Elite bumper have arrived and thought others would like to get a closer look at this bumper. It appears to be well built and...
And lucky me, my dealer falls into that category. I just messaged the sales manager and his answer when I asked was “Sorry that’s not available to us.” 🙄 Not sure why it’s such a secret. He’s taken good care of me with a loaner so I’m not going to hold it against him. Just would be nice to have...
I’m currently driving a loaner 2D MIC than I’ve had for over a month, and the vehicle had about 800 miles on it when I got it so likely there for a few weeks before I got it.
So I have the same question.
Why focus on getting dealers their mannequins quickly when they couldn’t even take an...
