@CValencia You are an inspiration! It's meeting people like you that make these events so meaningful! And you truly mastered that Bronco. We can't wait for you to get yours. You're going to have so many great adventures with it.
VERY NICE! Did you install the RPG full tie rods yourself? Just wondering how hard they are to install and if you like them. They sure look a lot beefier than stock!
So we have nearly 13,000 miles on our non-SAS Badlands with many of those on dirt roads. I put Xpel PPF on most of the vehicle and also put the short mud flaps on the front. I'm glad I did both both because I can tell from the PPF on the lower doors that there have been a significant amount of...
I just left the screen protector on that came with the Bronco. The little yellow tabs that were attached to the main screen protector and are used to peel it off are actually removable. So the big sticker over the entire screen in still in place. Can't even tell it's there.
I suspect that much of the difference is the Fox Live Valve shocks. It makes sense to me that if the towing capacity in the regular Bronco was limited by the suspension that these Fox shocks could help significantly while towing. The shocks can adjust on the fly to current conditions. So if...
We have been loving our Bronco and we are not afraid to drive it! 😁 We are over 12,000 miles without a single issue. They are not all street miles and we take it off-road a lot. We have two sons who each have 2021 Jeep Wranglers, one a Rubicon and the other a Willy's. Off-roading is our...
I used Forscan to disable the ASS. When I am going, there is no indicator that the ASS has been disabled. However, when I stop, the little gray ASS icon with a line through it appears on the dash and stays there until I start going again. There are no other indicators that it has been...
How has the ride quality of your OBX been in comparison to a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (if you have one to compare it to :))? Not the handling but the ride quality.
Thanks and glad it has been serving you so well!
The Bronco Raptor also has the Fox Live Valve shocks. It makes sense to me that if the towing capacity in the regular Bronco was limited by the suspension that these Fox shocks could help significantly while towing. The shocks can adjust on the fly to current conditions. So if things start to...
The transmission in the Ranger is the 10R80 transmission. The transmission in the Bronco is the 10R60. The one in the Ranger is the heavier duty transmission.
I really see these two vehicles filling two different niches. If I wanted the strongest and most powerful production vehicle for dedicated rock crawling, I will still get the Jeep over the Bronco Raptor. However, if I wanted a very fun vehicle for all-around running and going fast in the...
Thanks for confirming. 👍 Most articles that I have read about the Explorer ST engine stated that it was aluminum. But I just found in Ford's specs that the Explorer ST is indeed CGI.
Am I reading this correctly? We assumed the Bronco Raptor would come with the same engine that's in the Explorer ST. My understanding is that the engine in the Explorer has an aluminum block. But per Ford's specs, the Bronco Raptor engine block is Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) which is the...
Does anyone want to buy my 2.7 Badlands ticking time bomb for $90K so I can buy a Wrangler 392? 😉
My point is that if I had that much money, it would go to Jeep. But it would have been a different story if they would have put the Coyote or 3.5 Eccoboost in it.
I have the same problem and wish there was a solution. I update Android Auto every time there is a new update but continue to have the same problem. It will just disconnect randomly... maybe.
For example, I have noticed that every time I drive through a certain spot, it will...
