  1. Gun racks, lock boxs, CCW locations [⚠️ Admin Warning: No Policies / Politics Discussions]

I’m one of the rare California CCW holders. I found a half hight lockbox for the center console on Amazon. It fits right under the lighter socket in the console and allows me to use my after market tray above the lock box. It is just big enough to fit my compact M&P Shield 9mm with my wallet...
  2. Pilot Rock Trail, Lake Arrowhead

I’m in Pasadena and can assure you that the state and feds have us locked out of everything in the ANF.
  3. Pilot Rock Trail, Lake Arrowhead

I have a home in Lake Arrowhead and need to find the time to explore some of the trails.
  4. Florida 2DR All Weather front/rear Mats ($100)

I’ll take the trunk mat. What’s shipping to 91105?
  5. Diesel engine swap options?

I had the 3.0 (lion) in my Range Rover and it was a wonderful engine BUT there is a known issue with the oiling of the crank and bearing failures occur around 100,000 miles. This might have been resolved in new generations of the lion used in Ford trucks not Land Rovers...

thank you! I’m guessing that disconnecting the battery will make the airbag safe To remove.

  8. steering wheel wrap

it is beautiful but too rich for my blood.
  9. steering wheel wrap

@flip Thank you for the quick reply and posting the instruction. Last question, how does the airbag release? I would imagine there is something on the back side of the wheel that you have to push in or unscrew. Thank you for the help.
  10. steering wheel wrap

cool steering wheel. who did the work and what did that cost?
  11. steering wheel wrap

@flip is this a direct replacement? Disconnect the battery, transfer airbag, switches, and trim ring over? Is there a special tool or will a standard puller work? I have 62,000 ford pass points burning a hole in my app and this might just be worth spending them on.
  12. Bronco

I'm just going to add... F*cking computers. They are great until they aren't and then there is little you can do about it. Look at Tesla's autopilot.
  13. High Mount Winch Plate installed on Capable Bumper

Do yourself a favor and install these: https://lodoffroad.com/products/2021-bronco-black-ops-front-bumper-frame-tie-in-brackets Cheap insurance for when you need to use that winch.
  14. Hothead Headliner installed review & photos. WOW!

I can see Ford denying a warranty claim if you remove the factory liner. They will claim that damage from chemicals or heat used to remove the liner and your POS hardtop that failure won’t be covered. I would love to install this product but no way is the risk worth it.
  15. High Mount Winch Plate installed on Capable Bumper

Are there any reinforcements to the plates at the end of the frame horns? Those are known to bend when used for recovery. The mount adds a lever to to the mix which is only going to torque them more.
  16. Bronco

Good driving to keep that from turning into a real disaster. Have you considered filing a report with NTSB? No power and no brakes is dangerous off road but imagine if that happens in a high traffic intersection. Whatever computer glitch resulted for the combination of inputs needs to be...
  17. Quick Survey - Bronco or Defender?

My son has a 2 door Defender and I have a 2 door bronco. They are completely different. The defender is much more comfortable and refined. It is massively better on the highway and around town. It’s fine on dirt roads and with some mods it does ok basic trails but I wouldn’t take it too far...
